Tomahawk C Loop after riding B-Loop twice and never having enough time for C-Loop we finally rode one of everybody’s favorite trails in Michigan! Both Tomahawk loops are an absolute blast, I'd give C-loop a slight edge but it's close. If you’ve never ridden this trail take a look and hopefully you enjoy! Video is in 4K

This trail was amazing, so much footage I had to leave out otherwise it would be an hour long. I know in this video I said I liked B-Loop better, but I have since changed my mind and give the slight edge to C-Loop!

Hey Captain, Thanks for another great video! I couldn't rustle up anyone to ride yesterday, so I did Tomahawk C then B by myself. I had done B before, but never C. I think C is my new favorite trail in Mi. The dirt was great after last week's rain and it warmed up to 60 degrees. The leaves are down now, so the trail was a beautiful gold carpet. C has the flow of West Higgins but adds some great long-pull hills. And it has some challenge features that are "Evart light." For me it is mostly 2nd gear riding - what a blast!

Nice, glad to here that! My group rode Caberfae yesterday and man was it challenging! Some nasty roots and you couldn’t see anything with all the leaves down.

I ran the C Loop in the same direction as you did. Here is my input, the first section with the tight trees banging on the bars was a pleasant change of pace, then that next hill climb section was really fun!!!! The next part (which you have in the film) with the long straight up and down the roller coasters was blah, but once you got done with that part, man back in the woods is a superior trail, I really enjoyed that part. I like those long uphill sections and non-whooped out sections. I honestly was not that sore after riding that trail, I rode Evart last week and that place killed me :) Enjoy your videos and travels, keep it up mate.

Hey thanks! Evart is one of my favorites, I’ve only ridden once this year. Plan to ride Evart soon though!

We tried to ride Evart 5-6 weeks ago, but it was still frozen and WAY Whooped out so we turned around. The bottom of the whoops were frozen over water and mud mix. Went and rode the UTV trails instead just to get some seat time.

Yesss!! We’re about to hit this! We just did B and be warned, there are for SURE trails that arnt marked on any app, and just lead you in a circle. We got stuck on some weird trail, and it was COMPLETELY overgrown to the point where you could only see what was right in front of you lol

Just rode this loop for the first time yesterday. I have an 05 Crf450x, it's a great bike, but gets tiring on rides like this because of the weight and power. I have been eyeing the yz250fx and was wondering how you feel about the power, does it have enough low end grunt for the looser hill climbs?

Plenty of power, you would be surprised. The 250 has a good hit also and is really easy to ride in tight single track.

@@Captain250FX thanks for the reply, I think I would be faster on a smaller bike for this type of riding, which is the riding I find myself enjoying the most. The 450 has been so great for a lot of things, but at the end of the day it's always been a heavy, powerful, handful.

Nice ride. I was up there once , but it’s been years , have get up there again. Anytime spent riding is aways good. Was there a lot of people up that way , or did you have the place to your self.
