Teresa Ferrara was the beautician's name, she worked at a hair salon in Bellmore, Long Island. She was a part-time runner, doing pays and collects for Paulie Vario or someone in his crew. The rumor going around at the time was that, she held out on money or foolishly was trying to extort somebody in the crew for money. She was dismembered and her torso washed up on the beach somewhere near Sandy Hook, New Jersey. They never found the head or the hands,so she was identified through a serial number and her breast implants. Her niece worked with her at the hair salon. The story goes, Ferrara supposedly told her niece she was going to meet someone at the diner across the street (Bellmore Diner) and said if she doesn't return within 15 minutes to come and look for her. This was in the early '80s or late 70s I really can't remember but I know I was in high school. I lived in Seaford ,one town over from Bellmore. They also said that Ferrara believed she was untouchable because she was dating Tommy DeSimone, when in fact this is what led to her downfall.

Deffinately , It only took watching one of these videos to "Sub" to the channel. Because of not only what you point out but he really comes off as believable, not pumping himself up like some of the other guys with channels on the subject do, he talks as if he's someone i might be familiar with(although he's obviously not), just telling things as they were and when he wasn't involved or doesn't really know, he says so.

Dude the guy named FOXY JEROTHE he gunned down, had just been one of Tommy's mob-hijacker friends for years and was well on his way to being made and part of Gottis crew (they all loved Foxy and apparently EVERYONE ELSE loved Foxy too) Foxy was known as a completely honest guy who was tougher and more loyal than Tommy ever was. Foxy had way more respect than Tommy D did so I heard that's the real reason Tommy was killed. Tommy fkd up and killed a guy who was worth 100 of him to those in the life.

As someone from the northeast corridor of Boston proper, it was very similar to NYC insofar as Italian-American/mob culture, so I could (and did) watch/listen to guys like A Ruggiano for hours on end. Basically, the guy was just being himself, no BS, not a blowhard, just reacquainting himself to what/how he grew up, and his seamless dealings with otherwise murdering psychopaths like Tommy DeSimone. Maybe it's because of how I grew up, but I am a sucker for that stuff. Very entertaining, IMO.

When referring to Henry Hill as "making himself more important than he really was" in Hill's book, Michael Francese (Who was a member of the Columbo family and who also knew Henry) said the exact same thing

what did henry embellish??

@@janmiller6317 Henry actually didn’t embellish much. If you just read the book he isn’t some big hot shot. He is however extremely close with Paul Vario, which was actually a fact. Other than that though he was just an average associate. The movie is a different story. He’s a lot more respected in the movie than he actually was in real life lol, and Ray Liotta plays the role too well and makes him too likeable imo. Those were the main things. Prison also looked a bit more comfy in the movie vs how the book describes it

I had a grammar school classmate named Tommy De Simone . The word was that his dad was the local bookie. All I know is that Mr. De Simone drove around in a great looking classic 1958 Caddy convertible.

At the time Billy Batts was at Roberts Lounge that was owned by "Jimmy Burke". Not Henry,Henry did have his own bar I believe it was called the "Suite" About the shine box that's true but Tommy came back 2-weeks later..Tommy was 6'2-220 lbs..Batts was John Gotti's friend..The scene in Goodfellas where they show Batts being stabbed and shot..Tommy beat him with the shovel and Jimmy Burke beat him with a tire iron until he was dead..Jimmy Burke's girlfriend was Tommy DeSimone sister she was 16 years old at the time.. even though Jimmy Burke was already married and has kids by then.. Tommy was dating Foxy Jerothe's sister he didn't like the way Tommy was treating his sister this guy Jerothe was a bad dude and a great boxer he put a Beatdown on Tommy big time..Tommy pulled out a 38 handgun shot Foxy 3 times killing him..This guy was also great friends with John Gotti and top earner..When Henry Hill went to Jail his boss Paul Vario was having a long-term love affair with his wife Karen Hill..and then Tommy tried to rape her that really pissed off Paul..Guy named Agro-"Tipp".. found out that Tommy's brother Anthony was an informant so he killed him and his brother Robert for what not sure at two different times..When John Gotti found out what Tommy was up to Agro tortured Tommy real slow with a chainsaw in front of John Gotti and then shot Tommy three times in the head..From there Agro and another guy took Tommy and put him in a car crusher covered him up with scrap Agro said Bye-bye Tommy.. from their with all the other cars went to the Philadelphia steel mill where he was melted down with the cars that's why they never found his body Tommy was 28 years old.. Jimmy Burke knew all about it he was the one that ordered the hit on Tommy DeSimone..

Theresa Ferrara, was Tommy’s GF and she was found in NJ. She was in fact dismembered and left to go to an opportunity to make $10k. She left without her purse or house keys and only her car keys. I think she was only identified by her breast implants serial number. RIP Theresa.
