i read that the bike will prematurely signal that your battery is low,when you do full throttle it will drag the voltage down and you need to turn it off/on to reset. The fix is to get a voltmeter on your handlebars and use that as your battery monitor.

Real world riding test like this one is the most useful. I've noticed batteries work better after they have cycled a few times from new. It also seems like the battery level on the first half of a charge goes down faster than the last half. Battery sag is normal under power then recovers/ stabilizes at rest which is the true reading.

When I bought my Zooz I did order mine with the lower 6" BMX handlebars I'm also going to change some stuff on my fat tire cafe racer super73 copy when I'm out on that bike people always double-take when they see that bike and your ride I just use the eggridder display all I need to see is the pedal assist because I've already set my motor to suit my style of riding ✌🏾😊

Great video! I bought the same bike and I have really been enjoying it so far. In the future, could you make a video about the bike about how it's performing after 6 months? I read some things from other people on the internet about the electric motor breaking down or other issues like with the pedal assist.

I did an incomplete range test on mine today. At 5'9" 240 LBS, I was able to get 27.6 miles with 1 bar of charge left. So at least at my weight, I think it will meet the 30-35 mile range.

@@MrTytyjohn64 it should be. I 5’9”, you may need to tip toe on stops with a little more side lean, but a good pair of boots makes all the difference in the world with me, and is good safety protocol for motorbikes anyway.

Loved the last video on this bike and this one. During the last 5 seconds did the 4 bars it jumped back to maintain? if so 13 miles * 5 would give you with your circumstances about 65 total mile range. Which would be just about in the center of what they advertise on Amazon "covering a range of 35-50 miles (throttle mode) to 50-80 miles (pedal assist)" Average of Maximum milage would be (50 throttle +80 pedal assist)/2, which is also 65 throttle/pedal assist. What is your opinion?

my experience is 20ah 48v battery is gonna give you around 28-29 throttle only and that's pushing it. i always try to keep it under 25miles full trip because you just never no

Dude your videos are the best. I’ve been watching for months now and love them. I’m also really thinking about getting this bike. I have an ebike that I built right now but it’s a lil sketchy lol. It’s basically just a huffy beach cruiser with 2 1000w motors. Each has its own throttle and battery. The acceleration and range is absolutely incredible but that frame is just not built for it lol. I went on a 40 mile ride and each battery was still over 50%. Top speed is 34mph and it literally peels out if you use both motors at the same time.

It's weird bc when mine is about to die I turn it off and paddle for 5min and the bar is full again and keeps running. Idk of its a error but it's amazing

You'll have to play with the Kepler suspension and tire pressure. 25 lbs seems ok to me. Play with preload and dampening .. Should get at least 20 miles full throttle. I got 75 miles going average 12 mph or so. I set top speed at 45kph to get lower PAS levels of speed. Maxed out I think 15 is the slowest it goes in PAS 1. Battery on the Kepler shows 100% for a good while and then drops like a rock after 99%

I can get it new at a shop in NY for 1199. That might be the deal maker for me if I can upgrade it but anything can be upgraded. As soon as I get a bike I will be starting a yt channel and show my upgraded bike.

Yeah my KT display is inaccurate I charged it this morning and I only had Two bars once I was underway riding it went to full bars when I got home and turned the bike off ten minutes later I had three bars, Strange!

Want to know if I can ride this without registering it. How do you tell which bikes don't need to be licensed? Is it just all down to engine size?

I don't know where you are from Gary but here in California, you do not have to register nor have a driver's license to use an electric bicycle. If you google your question, I'm sure you can find your answer man. Hope that helps.

I thought about hooking up the battery to the downtube and using it just to hold my spare battery then when the main one has run out of juice just change it over plus all my bikes use the same battery and downtube ✅️

id put the spare battery in a backpack but if you find a way to hold it to the downtube id just hook both of them up with a splitter

I don’t know where the serial number is on the bike. I sold the bike already, so I can’t go back over it. Most of the times they have it underneath the bottom of the frame on the downtube or underneath the cranks. Thanks for using the code :)

I have 4 bikes with 20 ah batteries, and they generally get me between 25-30 miles, riding at around 25 mph throttle only.

Just got mine assembled. Got 7 miles in before the bike completely died. No warning from the battery light. I'm at a loss. Any ideas on what might've happened?

I don’t no the exact issue like if the display turned off or the display still working but no power. Check all the connectors from the throttle and the main one is the rear motor wires that quick disconnect on the rear of the frame. That could be it. Happened to me before

@@MrCentralDriver The display turned off with no power. Checked all the connectors and everything seems fine. When I got home, I charged the battery, put it back on, and the bike started up. Hopefully it's just a battery issue and not something major with the bike. And thanks for the reply! Love your channel.

Yes. You need to find out the connection of the stock battery if it’s an XT 60 or XT 90 and then you need a battery blender which you get on Amazon for 40 bucks. Let’s you run two batteries together. Your secondary battery you need to find out what will fit in the spot in the middle of the frame or have one custom-made.

I'm thinking of getting one since u say it rides nice and I'm going to try to upgrade it to maybe still 48v but like a 60ah battery and upgrade the controller to 100a sabaton and maybe a 3000w motor. Looking to go like 50mi at like 40mph.

I don't like the fixed to frame seat bikes. I don't like bikes that look like a big mini bike minus the gasoline engine. I don't like BMX bikes The Juiced Rip Racer is ok just a tad under powered ....I guess I'm old school. I don't mind step through style and regular looking bikes. Even moped style like the HyperScorpion are ok. Mirrors, blinkers and all. . A folding EBike with top speeds of 30 would be fine, as long as it's under 80 lbs and has 17.5 plus ah.

i find bikes with a moped fixed seat to be more comfortable as i can just adjust the handlebars high or low or push them away from me or closer in. I like to be able to have movement when sitting instead of stuck in 1 position and finding the sweet comfortable spot on a bicycle seat with post. But we all have our own style, nothing wrong with that. i do think any 48v needs to have a 17.5+ battery and a 52v needs 20ah minimum. I do think these bikes need a few different suspension holes so you can lower the bike by an inch or raise it an inch
