The Last Samurai visits Tomonoura in Fukuyama city, Hiroshima and introduces the beautiful old and historical port town. Tomonoura is so beautiful that many movies have been shot there. There are also some spots relating Sakamoto Ryoma.

The seto inland sea is always stunning. I had the privilege to cycle the Shimanami kaido from Onomichi to Imabari. But to enjoy it take two days and sleep on one of the islands. The many bridges and hills will take a toll when you want to arrive in time to return your bike in Imabari. Thanks for your videos they always make me smile.😊

@@lastsamuraikyoto I stayed in the Miharashi-tei guest / tea house just about 50-100m below Senkoji temple. If you got heavy luggage use the ropeway. I adored it because of the view over Onomichi bay. Just a recommendations in case you haven't shot your video.

@@lastsamuraikyoto I noticed the ropeway just when I arrived at the guest house. I had about 30kg of luggage with me. I can understand your exhaustion. At my stay the fake castle was still there. I don't understand why one turned it into a small guest hiust . May be there was no water and sewage connection to the very impressive castle foundation that is still intact.

A man I met in Onomichi talked about the fake castle. He said, The mayor likes to make something new and he has a friend who owns a construction company. And it cost 200million yen to make that new view bridge.

Annamaria ; You can kill people, no ideas. Sakamoto Ryoma wanted the modernization and industrialization of his country. This happened ! But what would he think now ?
