Why does everyone seem to hate the majestic old building so much? I can understand things have to move on and it may not have been suitable because of pollution etc. but the negativity towards the building itself it in this video is so strange. Such a beautiful structure that's been a part of your landscape for longer than any of you were alive and when it finally goes down the headline is "I'm glad to be rid of that eye sore. That's pretty sad.

Let's not forget, before the era of coal people burned wood. Lots of it. Europe was deforested that way. Coal, in its time, was a huge improvement.

Destroying a structure that has become obsolete is one thing, but that doesn't mean it was terrible when it was put up in the era that it was in. For example, a dam that was demolished in 2020 was probably badly needed 100 years before that.

17JUL2021 - OK, now the truth of the matter: The house of the old robber barons has been torn down, only to make way for his brother. Polish that turd all you want, it's still a turd. If you, the citizen, think for one solitary second you're going to benefit from any of this, just leave that hook in your jaw. It will eventually rust through if it doesn't kill you first. I would have held my tongue had this been just another demo video. But, no, they had to make this sound like something big and good is about to happen. My kinfolk in Cleveland are still waiting, 45 years later. That rusty hook is still hung in their flesh. To je istina.

I hate crybabies that bad mouth a corporation that put food on thousands perhaps hundreds of thousands of people's tables for a century. You do realize that those corporations are still producing they are just doing it in another country and putting food on the tables of their people. Meanwhile in America we have shortages non stop. We have no skill workers demanding 15 dollars an hour for a job most of them can't do right for any wage. Americas best days are over. I am glad I got to live some of the good days this country had because they will not be seen again.
