Wirtz's style is closer to Modric than Kroos. Up to this day, there is no one out there that does what Kroos does.

The top four midfielders of all time is very subjective. If team awards is the focus then Xavi, Iniesta, Modric and Kroos get high on the list If it’s about talent then the likes of Zidane, Platini(3 time Ballon d’or Winner) Gullit(can play every role in the midfield same applies to Rijkaard aswell) Matthaus would be in it. I think Kroos 100% Is in the top 10 midfielders of all time, i personally think he is better then Modric I think Kroos and Modric could have won 7 Champions leagues at Madrid had they gotten to stay. But Perez jas other plans. only other places then Madrid that they could win the CL would be either City or Bayern.

How do we forget that Courtois single handedly won us a UCL? Liverpool still sees that man in their nightmares 😂 Emotions aside let's be honest Courtois is a better keeper than Lunin. He is still in the top 3 best keeper in the world. Lunin is for next generation, Courtois is for now!

@@skrilla-702 i get what you mean. morale standpoint you have a good point, but you have to set that aside and think objectively and put the team ahead of an individua. Ultimately, it’s Don Carlo’s decision. He will decide to increase the chances of winning. I think there’s still time to see who will start, so far Courtois’ looking good.

@@mrupisan014 sometimes Carlo makes dumb or questionable decisions. Remember 2023 ucl semis he benched Rudiger, also he played both Kroos and Modric meanwhile they’re out their prime and it cost us. I’m no Einstein but logically that’s an easy call to make

Modric is not a typical 38 yo! He still can run better than most 30-35 yo midfielders in the world and his skills have not diminished. Watch the second leg vs Bayern. Modric changed the game !
