Open Cup Acrylic Pouring, the easiest Fluid Art technique to create tons of huge cells!
This time I was using 2 drops of silicone oil in each cup, in the upcoming videos I will show you how to create cells without any silicone!

how long does it take to dry? and are coloures after drying process still as bright ? i heard that with the silicone thats all over impression is grey and feels sticky. is that true?

It takes about 2 days to completely dry. The colors are a bit faded at that point, but once you apply the varnish layer, it comes back again. :) No issue with Silicone if it doesn't stay at the top of the paint layer. You have to make sure to stir it well before you begin to pour it to the canvas. Thanks for watching!

How much silicone do you add to the paint? I have tried this and didnt get near the cells this has. I love the open cup pour though.

I have added 1 drop of Silicone Oil into the White cup. Make sure to use the same brand as me and you will get similar results. I have tried different paints and Silicone oil, this is the best combination by far. :) Thanks a lot!

Another question. Only 2 drops of silicone per cup of paint? Floetrol by itself? Is GAC a good substitute for floetrol?

GAC is not needed, 2-3 drops of Silicone oil does the trick. :)

I was using the same ratios for all colors: Paint: 1 unit Floetrol: 3 units Water: 1 unit 2 drops of silicone oil to each cups
