I bought the Reformation Tour DVD from the charity shop the other day, and there are so many great moments. Class act. I wasn't going to have a drink today, but Tony has made me feel like having a popstar Saturday booze up! Tony makes me laugh with his Joie de Vivre. He's an old fashioned man's man and so funny on stage when he adopts his schmaltzy, corny persona....and that cheesy smile😅

Without Tony Martin wouldn’t have had a career at all. Martin also said how he would always love Tony like his brother, but he doesn’t give a s..t about him. Con Artist musicians playing with you not willing to commit or practice seriously. I don't have time for that kind of babysitting anymore. I Loved them All but they were user's and Con Artist musicians. I'd still love to record some music but recording was the line in the Sand that Drew us apart. Time recording was not something that they would work at. Without practice seriously it's a waste of time. I'm not a fan of the queen and I don't like her and I know she's dead now, but I never trusted her. She's was a German, A Kraught German named Saxon and Gotha. @@broadcast-east Tony, Steve and John claimed that because Gary had promised them to share royalties. He actually did that for a few years until it became really lucrative. He then all of a sudden (Tony, Steve and John hadn‘t been informed about this) stopped paying them. Legally the judge was right, but breaking a promise to your friends isn‘t a very kind thing to do, especially not when those friends helped you becoming the rich man you are with their talents. Steve got a nervous breakdown after all this and is still struggeling to keep his head above the water financially. Without Tony we never would have heard from Spandau. And yes, he is thankful. He mentions the band at almost all of his shows. It‘s about time the Spandau boys are going to show Tony some gratitude, instead of being negative about him (Gary in specific is very good at that). Without Tony as the frontman the band wouldn‘t have left the school rooms.

@@j.schermer3523 With all due respect thats ridiculous! The songs made Spandau not Hadley.Any decent singer would have sang those songs and they would have been hits.Even guys who couldnt sing half as good as Tony in those days had massive hits. For me the brothers did nothing to Hadley. He felt entitled. The hits dried up,the money was gone and he suddenly feels he should be having some of that dosh coming in quarterly for Gary.No you shouldnt be.You didnt write those songs!

@@HarriBestReactions it‘s not about the royalties anymore. It‘s about not showing respect to someone. You probably missed the news that came out a couple of months ago? Martin admitted that Tony always had been bulied by the others when he was in the band. After Tony had left the band, the Kemps continued with the bullying on a higher level. And as for the singing; how many of Gary‘s solo songs do you know? Same songwriter, different voice. Tony‘s voice isn‘t ‚just a voice‘. Go read the comments to Spandau videos and see for yourself how many comments are about Tony‘s voice.

@@j.schermer3523 If they did bully him, thats out of order. But we know for a fact that most band members get jealous of the lead singer cis he gets all the attention. So maybe that has something to do with that. But make no mistake about it,this is not about the bullying..Its MONEY! How come they didnt fall out earlier then? How come it all came crashing when the money thing arose? You asked how many Gary songs do i know. You missed the point there.Their time was gone. How many bands of their time was having hits 10-20 yrs later? Their time was gone..Plus Gary is not a singer anyway. Now how many hits has golden voice Hadley gone on to have if his voice is so magical? Of cos the fans are gonna say his voice was the band and IT WAS.But it could easily have been any decent singer. He wasnt a guy like Freddie Mercury who started a whole moment an inspired a generation.I give him flowers, but the band woukd still have made it without him

@@HarriBestReactions You don‘t know much about the history of the band, do you? Btw, Gary sees himself as a singer, you probably missed that too. And again; it‘s not about the money. The band fell apart when the Kemps started a film career in 1990. The court case about the royalties was in 1999. They reunited in 2009, but Tony left in 2017 because he had enough of Kemps behaviour. Since then he‘s very busy playing all over the world, singing Spandau songs, covers from other artists and more and more songs he has written himself.
