Say Hello to My Little Friend in Scarface: The World Is Yours available for PS2, Xbox, Wii and PC. Scarface: The World Is Yours takes you into a complicated world of excess and greed. You'll become Tony Montana, one of the most ruthless gangsters ever depicted on film. The original screenwriter has created an all new storyline that authentically recreates the historical time period of the film, and gives you the chance to live out the events of the film or change them and create a new life story for the famous gangster.
• Travel through the steamy violent streets of Miami to the Florida Keys & the Bahamas smuggling drugs, avoiding rivals and the DEA as they rebuild a fallen empire
• Players will have both an aggressive and passive mode negotiate business deals, intimidate those around them or escalate into a battle as they encounter a world full of seedy and dangerous characters
• Experience the explosive personality of Tony as they wage battle against enemies attempting to do him harm
• Use various motor vehicles and smuggle contraband to and from various locals with a variety of ocean and air vehicles

Disclaimer this video was not made by mafia game videos!! It was aired on mtv in 2006 or 2007 i believe i remember watching it back then thinking it was the coolest thing ever. Thank you for bringing this piece of nostalgia back!!!

Sadly the licensing to make a remake will probably never happen. But there is a remastered project on pc that has upscaled textures, controller support etc.

Na YT był fragment filmu Scarface z tym cytatem i do tego dowiedziałem się, że istnieje ta gra. Obejrzałem film. Zagrałem w grę mimo niskiej znajomości języka. Polubiłem ją. Ta gra nie ma oficjalnych napisów.

I love it. this is one of the greatest pieces of Scarface medium ever. I didn't even know this existed and I've watched it 10 times. I love it. it's so great if only this was in life action and you actually got Al Pacino to do it. it would have been 10 times better but I still love it it's so good oh my God they also got the pelican.

I hope so too, as unlikely as it honestly seems to be at this point. They were going to make a Scarface 2 game but it got cancelled when the developer went out of business. Hopefully the nostalgia people have for this game will eventually make whoever owns the rights to the game now actually do something with it.

From the Wikipedia page of Scarface: The World Is Yours "The game features Al Pacino's likeness in the character of Montana, but Pacino does not voice the character, as he and the game's producers felt his voice had changed too much since the film was released in 1983. Instead, Montana is voiced by André Sogliuzzo, who was personally selected by Pacino himself. Actors from the original film who did voice work for the game include Steven Bauer, Robert Loggia, and Al Israel."

I've heard so much André Sogliuzzo Scarface that I don't even think of Al Pacino as Scarface anymore. He does a great job in the film, but after PAYDAY 2 and The World is Yours, André Sogliuzzo is just Scarface to me. In this video, though, he does a really good job at impersonating Pacino (probably because it was meant to promote the game), which goes to show how great a VA he is.

Because they are pre rendered CGI. Lots of old PS1/PS2 and even PC games, had really nice pre rendered cutscenes because there were work computers capable of doing that, so they shot those films and put them in as video files for the games.
