Did he break any kind of code by putting Harvey biz out there? Idk but still I kinda agree how you going to tell others how to think about dating with books & movies when your current wife was "a side piece during most of your previous marriage" right? Him & his wife are both snakes for that! I get 2nd chances but damn maybe I will be more understanding in 10 yrs. or maybe not still...

What he did was wrong so that it self is advice on relationship. A person that makes mistakes have plenty to tell a person that doesn't can only tell so much. I'm not excusing what he did but . l promise he can give advice in no one can judge him. He has already seek forgiveness from Christ. Let who has not sin cast the first stone. An other words if you are perfect and have no flaws haven't made any mistakes please stone him.

I didn't know about Marjorie being the mistress until I heard Corey Holcomb say it a while ago on his UStream show. He didn't say it like he was revealing a secret, he said it like it was widely known. He also called her a gold digger.

Now don't get it twisted I do agree in redemption and the grace of God to take us out of certain situations and propell us forward, so with all that his wife did or was involved with in her past, I do think she loves Steve and that he REALLY loves her and that she was the key to pushing him to capitalize on his career and the possibilities that come from that career.

Siah El Your missing the point and it's two fold. Before Trump was elected Steve was talking so much crap about him and now well let me meet the guy and be friends? So that's why people are either upset or scratching there heads on why the sudden change Steve. Also Jim Brown use to beat the hell out of women he dated fact. Just because people do some good doesn't mean they don't have some real shit with them and people want to look the other way because they're uncomfortable dealing with someone they looked at with high regards.
@MagicLM
@MagicLM 7 жыл бұрын
Nah most people hating on steve got things twisted. Steve didn't meet with trump with hopes of becoming friends or thinking he was the voice of black people (as Tony rock mentioned in his rant). Sure Steve talked shit about trump because like all of us, we never thought trump would become president...but he did. So now the reality is trump is in a position of power. Steve didn't call up trump, trump called steve. Now there are not many of us black folk in a position where the president calls and wants to meet with you. At this point, you must put aside your dislike or hate for trump as the man he is and recognize his position which you should respect. You now have an opportunity to be heard regardless of who the man is that you are meeting with, no matter what he's done or said because... HE IS THE MAN WITH THE POWER TO AFFECT YOUR LIFE. So trump runs all of us right now. If he said "put all black folks back into slavery" and his position of power was strong enough to allow him to do that, then all of us are fucked no matter what you think or feel about trump or steve. So if you had the chance to sway this man's opinion then, would you not sit down and talk with him? Just saying, I don't see anyone giving a damn good reason why meeting with trump was a bad idea. I don't give a fuck if he is a racist or that people don't agree with shit he's said or done, the man is still the head of state, period. It's like your job, If you can't separate the boss from the man, then you are fucked while working with that company as nothing good will come out of it for you. So for me, I can't stand trump...but until he does something personal to me, I have to respect his position as president and I'm not judging or putting others down if they choose to engage with him in any kind of meeting in an attempt to create positive change.

@@MagicLM I know you made this comment long time ago but still you missed what most people's thoughts were on his meeting with Trump. We didn't care about him meeting with Trump, we didn't care if he met with him everyday. The problem came when he came back from the meeting telling us "how cool Trump was" and how we should give him a chance and how we should change our thoughts about him and so on, thats was the big problem we had with Steve Harvey. He went over there had his meeting then come back with a different view about Trump wanting us to change our thoughts. Im almost sure they talked about golf too.. Big mistake on his part.

People don't realize, that unjust won't prosper. What Steve done to his wife, and how he humiliated her, for the world to see, would come with a big price. It took years to happen, but God work on his own time. Do people right, and blessings will come your way. Do people wrong, and you would reap, what you sow. No matter, what it look like. It might seem like it's not coming, but God work on his time, and not ours.😒
@MagicLM
@MagicLM 7 жыл бұрын
You know what, screw god, the devil and anyone else. Human beings time is limited. There is no room for god to work on his own time if the end game for us is to worship him now and prove that we belong in heaven for eternity in the afterlife. So unless there is room to continue to prove to him after we die, then he's fucking wasting our time doing things on his own time because our life isn't unlimited. Just saying, I'm indifferent about god for most of my life but as time goes on, he's done nothing to sway me to full blown belief. If anything, his inaction or should I say refusal to do the one thing that will 100% sway me yet is pushing me to believe there is no god or devil and that we make this shit up just to make ourselves feel better about the fact that we do not control our destiny. It's better thinking there is a being who controls our destiny in life and after death because in a roundabout way, we think we can still influence our own destiny by worshiping god and think in doing so he will bless us to have the afterlife we desire. So for me, I'm soon to be 45 and as the years go by, I am veering away from god more and more. So if he does work in his own time, then his ass is running out of time with me.
@see5597
@see5597 7 жыл бұрын
MagicLM, you know that all I saw was "screw God", and you lost me there. I don't need to read your whole reply, after that. All I can say is I will pray for you. We all go through things in our life, but only the strong will survive. When I say strong, I mean, when we go through our tribulations, we can stand, and still have faith in him, and not buckle, because life is getting hard. You are stronger than you think. I'm going through a lot of hell in my life right now, but I still have faith in him. I can, and do believe, that everything is in his perfect will. We are sometimes, our own worst enemy, and then blame God. We let that devil trick us, and then turn our back on God, because we fell short, and didn't obey. Open your heart, and your mind, to our most high. God still love you, and may God bless you.😆

I think the real tea about Marjorie has to do with her past two husband being drug dealers, Steve monetarily saving her and her ex's night club when her ex went to jail for drugs. I'm confused how "our"people think so highly of Steve - deeming him a relationship expert because he wrote a book, when he is on his 3rd marriage, and fights (filthy) dirty. I don't care if you do anything else, you need to respect the woman that gave your kids life, not treat them like dirt - cheat on them, engage in extra-marital affairs, and rip their kid out of their arms. If you don't like it, leave - but don't cheat. It's best to take the "simple math approach" in relationships. Wake up black people and take note... Being the host of Family Feud and getting the #1 answer out of 100 people surveyed does not make you a relationship expert. ByeSteve ByeMarjorie #Fail

You have some good points. But Steve being on his 3rd marriage should not preclude him from giving marital advice. Someone who has failed at marriage twice and think he’s got it right the 3rd time can give just as good advice as someone who’s been married for 30 years. Just like a recovering addict can give just as good advice as a drug counselor, just like you can learn as much from an ex con as a judge about avoiding a life of crime.

Stop backtracking, Tony! You put it out there as a matter of fact--not maliciously. Leave it alone!
