Pooter is the real deal. I watched this man this past weekend during a course, ran himself into the dirt (and heat exhaustion), and about an hour or two later he had himself dusted off and knocked out a bow drill under pressure. There isn't any quit in him.

Thanks, Pooter, and yes, you do make me laugh. You also seem to be a very humble guy, which I think is pretty cool. I didn't necessarily grow up poor, but my mom wasn't a very good cook, and I didn't really know what a steak was until I was in my 20s. Thanks again for the video.

Your story of forgetting your card, breaking your phone, losing your saw, and searching for your glasses sounds just like some of my outings. Sometimes you have to take a step back and center yourself to continue on. Started watching your videos from the first one about a week ago. Hope to see you at a basic class this coming year. Keep up the good work.

One way to combat ticks and burrowing critters inside your debris shelter is by using smoke. Just find some green or damp wood, or even damp vegetation that will smoulder without flaring up and place it in a coffee can inside your shelter. The smoke will drift up through the debris and drive out the creepy crawlies.

Took me two days to watch this video. Glad I got to finish it. Do the fishing videos, it doesnt hurt any. Once this knee heals I'm hitting the water hard!

It popped while swimming and has a small tear, most likely an old injury that came back around. I'll know more tomorrow after xrays now that the swelling has gone down.

Bring bug spray, particularly bug spray with Deet keeps away ticks. Bringing a small roller lint remover is also handy in brushing ticks off your pants or outer clothing. Take care.

Enjoyed the story @ 9:00 even though you had a rough time. Some days we are the hammer and some days we are the nail. Nice job on that bow drill fire. Yeah, that ghost pepper stuff isn't for me. My son likes it though. I just had a few "Extra Hot" Pringles and I'm done with it. Nice job on the shelter by the way. Always interested in more videos from you. It may take me a day or two to get to them because of my schedule but yeah, send out more videos if you like. Thumbs up!
