I honestly hate working on any trucks besides mine but it's cool to see what people use for different kinds of work. I had a 66" tech series. The higher drawers are too shallow and that dictates how you organize your tools. Very nice box though. Mine was pretty old when I bought it but felt as solid as the brand new krl1033 next to it.

He’s got a long way to go when it comes to tool purchasing. But it’s nice to see that he hasn’t gone way over board on truck credit. I take that shop is mostly diesel pickups. Seems like he would be way under equipped for Class 5 and up.

The locking flex heads. Pull the lever down and push it to the right and it locks down so you can freely flex the head.

just gana say its pretty sad when i work in small engine repair and even i notice the lack of break away power on the 1/4in like he said so i use a 3/8 90% of the time. its a good start man

You can lock that 3/8 ratchet so it becomes a regular swivel ratchet. Just bring the mechanism down to the right

Yep, we just hate that the switch is spring loaded to return to the lock position. So as soon as it gets slightly tapped, it locks back closed

I've broken the swivel head on my Snap On flex head 1/2" like 4 times. Matco definitely had a better idea.

@ 6 24 -26 the tiny pocket pry bar's as u all call em..... i got to say ppl,. loose em or toss em away me being a recycler here i find a crap load of them all the time esp., when i do small clean out's of apts,. or storage unit's or what not..... by the way u have any cool looking ones u hang onto & or not use cus it's too cool...... i have 2 1 made in early 70's ... & one made in the mid to late 80's.... & some made w/ in the last few yrs,. i use a lot taking apart lil small electronics like radio's & small tv's & etc., here........

I have the wife every day ask me if I am cheating on her. I lost it and said I cant even handle her why would i do for 2 females. She said you spend more time with guys KZfaq. Example why she keeps yelling at me for pron. She tells me that I need to say no to people about fixing cars. Lol so she asked me to fix her car and I told her lol no. That did not go well but love to work on anything and slowly get things that I need. So I watch you guys at work keep on pushing them out. I want to one day start making videos. Do maybe my first as a toolbox tour

Im building my set for when i graduate, im in between two sets of wrenches, affordable (1/4-1in)-(8-22mm) or pay about 100$ extra for a (1/4-1.1/4in)-(6-32mm), any input would be helpfull

When you become a diesel mechanic if you don't get a few Milwaukee tools you'll be shut out of the shop or the truck. Surprised this feller hasn't got anything over 1 1/4, I'm a heavy diesel fitter and for those odd jobs (counterweights, swing ring bolts, plow bolts on larger machines, etc.) You need those big sockets and spanners.

I wonder if he really works as a diesel mechanic. Most guys that work diesel are covered in grease from the ankles to shoulders ND Hella dirty cus they always work on the floor ND the trucks have lots of caked on grease oil ND dust

Mac Is junk I have a lot of the mac tools he has. I've broke my needle nose pliers taking out a cotter pin. My ratchet, my 6 inch extension and my universal joint just in normal use. And to top it off there in only one mac truck near me and its where I live. Not where I work

I’ve been doing it for less than 2 years and have more tools than this guy. Don’t buy all snap on and other tool truck shit when you first start. There are a ton of alternative tool companies. Some of them are just as good if not better than the tool truck tools. When you start out you don’t make enough to buy all of the nice shit, hence as to why his box could have a lot more tools. Buy good stuff when you start out and if it breaks upgrade it

@@pablotapia2346 Honestly man I have a complete mix of tools in my box. Snap on, Mac, Matco, husky, kobalt, harbor freight, Milwaukee, tekton etc. After you wrench for a little while you can pick a tool up examine it and give a good guess to whether or not it’s a good tool. The best place to find out if a tool is bad or not is project farm and tool test channel. They do unbiased testing of tools, project farm test a lot more than tools as well, and give you an accurate assessment.
