Man this definitely feels reminiscent to the older days. the establishing hallway shots, Tom walking down the halls like a boss, and no words needing to be said. That nod of acknowledgment they give each other is really cool.

One thing toonami has done it right that's better than their anime lineup, the production of how they set up the intro and everything. Love it!

It felt like a mix of a bunch of Toonami intros! There is a shot of a corridor with blinking lights, Sara has a body, a shot of the ship floating through space. Pretty cool!

Damn, last time I saw this bumper specifically, Toonami was just finishing the Universe 6 Arc and transitioning to the filler Potafu Arc of Dragon Ball Super, and also when the new Samurai Jack was still fresh.

They probably just wanted to introduce the new intro without any commentary from TOM and SARA...since there are a lot of camera shots direct at TOM and SARA for long periods of time I guess that they will change the script every week and talk about different things just like last year.
