I would hop onto my lvl 1 [Actual Troll] Character(Last Troll was a monk) who is sitting in Org, once every few weeks (I usually delete him once people recognize the name) and tell the exact same 10 jokes in /2 spread over a few days/hours, and people STILL GET TRIGGERED. All of that SINCE 2009. "Eh, mon, I don't get it, if Arthas' mount is Invincible, why can I see it?" "Eh, mon, why I never see the princess kissing Zelda or anything after he saves her from the pig dude?" Just to name my biggest hits.

Or another wonderful trick is to ask for let's say someone to craft you a pink shirt for your transmog. When somebody points out that this is gay be outraged and state that you are not in fact lesbian (since gay applies to both sexes). When they ask if you are a girl, keep being outraged. Without a doubt one of the good poor souls will whisper and ask you. Than act weasely and make him run circles to finally get him to admit you are a girl. By the end of the day every single member will be aware that you are a girl. Without having to blatantly say it. Bonus points if you have a wife or girlfriend that is willing to play along and talk in your stead on voice com. Or a sister or a girl friend (a girl that is a friend).

Holy.... I started this troll ("Paladins can't use maces") on Balnazzar server back in 2008 I think. We got a lot of people on Balnazzar screaming it in the trade chat by the end. It was actually my brother's invention after we were talking about how hyper-sensitive some players were about their weapons. We postulated that an elite gear snob would become engaged by stating something fundamentally incorrect, and fall for the troll. They did often and I had people linking me weapons to "prove" paladins can use maces and I'd just calmly call them a liar. There was also "Hunters can't use guns" but that phrase got less traction and is less clever. PS While I was clearly completely aware of the fact that paladins do really use maces, I wasn't aware that it was THE ONE THEY START WITH after you've made your character paladin character. I was delighted by how this troll worked on so many levels. I've never levelled a paladin. It might be time. Then again, maces are off the list.

I was laughing so hard at your #1... especially how you didn't have to say much more. People did that so much at the WoD launch with Khadgar. I think they added the barrier/autodismount zone around major quest-givers because of the launch.

Also, while WoD was bad, I think it was mostly because of the garrisons and Ashran being the main city. Also because we had a repeat of SoO when it came to how long we were stuck with it. I liked the treasure hunting, the questing was great. When it came to leveling though, I wish the dungeons had a little more xp in them... (I had to speed-level a troll solo because I ran my only 100 horde toon through the Legion prelaunch without visiting the hidden vendor and I just about went insane.) People complain about lack of content, but there was plenty to do, if you were creative.

My hunter friend and my warlock alt for example: before they even made it clear whether or not they were adding flying, and before they added that cd to the Swapblaster, we climbed the mage tower in Stormshield using his disengage to go up the side, swapblasting with my warlock, throwing down a demonic circle so I could teleport up there if one of us fell, and swapblasters to just work my teleport up the side. It went like disengage, swap, circle, swap, teleport, repeat, except when one of us fell, where I would teleport, swap, teleport, and we'd both be back where we were. Our guild master (and one of our best buddies) joined in on his warrior just to be an extra safeguard that we could swap with, and so we could get him in a screenshot at the end.

I did this couple of times. Drive through IF spamming "who want to ride on my chopper?", "someone want to get to my choppa?" Jump into great forge with my new friend passenger. Bubble + HS. Worked every time :D

My favorite: Inform the tank that this weeks M+ is Necrotic or Skittish. In my experience they either quit instantly or go crazy trying to run it.

Back in BC and Wrath, my favorite way to troll was to go into the lowbie zones, pick a questgiver (ideally, one of the ones who gives players one of their first few quests ever), and just spawn kill him to the point where no one can get/turn-in the quest he offers. They'll either have to log off, or stand around waiting for you to leave.

From P.A.L.A Article 36, Section C, P 24, Things like games are considered property, destroying or ruining someones property by like hacking them is against the law. But also not letting them use what they own by killing them constantly is against the law and you can serve up to 2 months of jail time or 2 weeks of community service.

in the example Nixxiom would have had to hack the Blizzard servers to backtrace the IP, which IS a crime. Ganking people might at worst get your account banned, but that's the extreme and almost never happens. In bad cases they just give you a temporary ban after warnings.

TheInsanityVoid right right, I'm not really taking this seriously because it was quite obvious this comment was a joke. But as a shadow priest that PvPs I've never wanted someone's head on a stick more than I want Holinka's and Celestion's. The fucking nerfs and buffs.. And just leaving shadow alone even though it's not balanced, is just retarded. Sure we are good at the moment but we've also been nerfed and buffed and had talents changed like 1000 times, probably the most changes a spec has had in Legion (idk tbh). Void form is the most PvE retarded shit ever and is just clunky in PvP, EoS is nerfed and not even playable anymore. Gw2 is actually fun to play PvP wise, as a thief it's hilarious to run around and deal shittons of dmg, but you also die extremely fast, the fact that it's less scripted than WoW PvP makes it so much better, atleast for me. HuckFolinka I want my fucking orbs back

Had a chimera pet on my hunter back in the day and and got a whisper saying "Excuse me your pet is in my way". So I had to dismiss it so they could turn in their quest haha, I wonder if they waited a long time for me to move before they actually whispered

FYI, the mount blocking the mailbox thing hasn't worked ever since MoP. If you go to the mailbox and mouse over, your mouse will prioritise the mailbox instead of the person that's blocking it, really usefull feature they added. I used to hate it when people did that in wrath/cata :

God, I remember people in Wrath doing that mailbox thing. Sixteen giant goddamn mammoths outside the bank in Origrimmar shouting THE MAILBOX IS A LIE! Half the reason I played a mage was so that I could set my hearth anywhere I wanted and just port back to Silvermoon (which was a ghost town after BC) and use the mailboxes they had on every damn street corner.

my favorite thing to troll in trade chat was the classic "if Arthas has a mount named invincible why can I see it?", the mage one I have done before I've also done similar things on my hunter just to fuck with people, also the female character thing a guild I was in once thought I was cause I always played female characters, free shit is awesome. I did the wow is dead one as well wish i would have been able to save all the text wall crtis that caused.

on the topic of anime, my school once had a bunch or exchange students from Japan over for a homestay (happens every year) and a friend and I decided to ask someone what their favourite anime was. Their response, and this is 100% the truth, was Spongebob. Turns out in Japan they use the term Anime for any kind of animation, so don't get triggered by people calling it cartoons :)

I love it. They did the Giant Mount one during the release of WOD.....they had to hot fix the npc's so you couldn't mount around them...first time it ever had to be done it was so bad.

Last night my brother was asking me about how to start the quest line to get the Underlight Angler. I told him he had to go to any body of water, swim to the bottom and wait for his breath to run out. Once he dies, run back to his corpse and there will be a ghost fish that will start him on his way. He was giving updates in guild chat. "Ok, at the bottom of the lake." "Half way out of breath." "Ok, I'm dead now. Running back!" "Wtf, there's no fish?" I told him to Rez and hearth to Dalaran and then told him the actual process which is waaaaaaaay worse than what he just did haha!
