This is late but Martin Freeman shouldn't be on this list. He just doesn't want to be treated as a doormat. He is brutally frank, self-aware and genuine with a very dry sense of humor. That could rub people the wrong way only if they mistake is his on-screen personality with the real-life one. It is somewhat true that Benedict and Martin don't get along now but it is likely a personal issue that could go both ways. Let's not assume that Martin is the one at fault here. And he has been in the industry long enough that if he really was that difficult, there would be more evidence.

Martin Freeman is the LAST Person in whole Britain, who should be on this list. Yes, that's true, he sometimes has his "severe" moments, but that doesn't mean he's difiicult to work with - not at all.

I know Christian Bale has in the past been a bad tempered actor. He now seems to have gotten better at behaving nicely. The same goes with Martin Freeman. I have heard nothing but nice things said about him and Bale from other actors. A lot fans who have met Christian and Martin also say they are actually nice and pretty cool. I’m a fan of both of them and I will admit they are not perfect. They have done/said some awful stuff in the past. They both seemed to have changed their ways now as they get older.

Sam. Seriously. She gained quite a reputation in New Zealand for ego and holding up the production in River Queen. To the point where it came across as some regret of scripting her into the film in the first place.

The one about Tom is BS. The stories about him fighting with Shia were fabricated, they were play wrestling & it got out of hand & ended with Tom falling down the stairs whilst giving Shia a piggy back ride & he fell unconscious as a result. The whole thing with Mad Max was due to frustration on the working conditions, strenuous hours & how strict George Miller was being as a director not allowing any of the actors to input their own vision. Tom even said in an interview he wished he’d been more upbeat around his coworkers so the filming experience was better. Apart from the mad max incident I’ve never heard a bad word against Tom

Connery hated Bond and when went to first showing of Dr.No he went along with his fellow acting friend Michael Caine and Cine said there were four yobs behind them making rude comments about the movie so after telling the idiots to shut up a few times, Sean got out his seat and knocked all four of the turds out! Combining these two things it`s easy to see why he would behave the way he did on the Bond set and why he had creative disputes on the sets of two shitty movies, no biggie really.

They at least used to be. There were tons of stories in the news about how they were inseparable, got on like best mates, and so on, but recently the tides have turned. Lately all I hear is the complete opposite, including a report that BC called MF "pathetic" (www.vanityfair.com/hollywood/2018/04/benedict-cumberbatch-martin-freeman-sherlock-pathetic) and some news item somewhere that BC volunteered a meet-and-greet with the stars of "Sherlock" for a charity function, but MF refused to participate because he didn't want to be in the same room as him. Whether that's true or not, I can't say. But Martin seems to be pretty curmudgeonly since his split with Amanda Abbington so perhaps that's why he's been difficult to work with... lately.

...you realise Ireland isn't part of Britain, right? This has been a contentious issue for some time, I'm not sure this has been noticed, but it was resolved in the 1920's. Kinda. Oh, ok, but you mean the islands of Britain? Again though, probably not accurate. We used to own Calais too, not entirely sure any actors from there would say they were British. Wales, England, Scotland, Northern Ireland. Thats it. Crown dependencies, Isle of Mann...man, I'm boring myself. This shit isn't that complicated. Actually...this shit is unnecessarily complicated. I guess my point is Peter O'Toole was Irish, he even said himself that he got shit for being Irish when he came to London.
