As a Canadian who lives in the USA, I am shocked that these aren't in the USA. I assumed they were everywhere.

I couldn't picture life without Caramilk's, Coffee Crisp's or Aero's, these are the times I am glad to be Canadian.

coffee crisps are actually getting popular once again in the US, starting from around the same time as tim horton expanded in the US and exploded in popolarity in about 2018 because youtubers started making Canadian candy videos that went viral: And so most americans that crossed the border to Canada would always bring back some coffee crisp but when the border closed they got huge cravings and started demanding their stores to start selling them or would buy them online

You can buy Mars, Bounty and Wunderbar in every big supermarket in Germany. Wunderbar is the perfect candybar.

Even though the title says "candy bar" for Americans to understand, I'm glad that you understand that we Canadians call them "chocolate bars". Thank you. 🇨🇦💯 I'm a huge fan of all of these except for Big Turk and Bounty. My favourite version of Mr. Big was the dark chocolate. A regular Mr. Big is very sweet so the dark chocolate balanced it out nicely. I went to Los Angeles in 2019 and included a trip to RuPaul's Dragcon. I carried with me 10 chocolate bars each of six specific Canada only varieties (60 bars total), and share them with my favourite Queens. They went over very very well. I made sure to give 1 of each 6 to fellow Canadian Brooke Lynn Hytes. Congratulations on a very good job covering these iconic Canadian chocolate bars. But you will definitely need a part 2.

I just got back from vacation in Ottawa and I bought 5 each of Wunderbar, Mr Big, Crunchie, Big Turk, Mars, Eat More, Crispy Crunch, Coffee Crisp, and Canadian Oh Henry back home to the USA at my house. During my visit, I had Wunderbar, Mr Big, Crispy Crunch, Mars, Big Turk, and Canadian Oh Henry. The Canadian chocolate tastes a trillion times better than American chocolate because it has a real cocoa taste while our country's chocolate bars doesn't have the real taste. I won't eat ANY American chocolate bar for as long as I'm alive.

In Canada and the UK you can get deep fried Mars Bars that are very good. The bar is dipped in batter and put in a deep fryer.

Bounty has a sibling, Mounds, which has almonds on top. I'm surprised it wasn't included. A Canadian-only bar I miss from my childhood: Neilson Danish. Wafers, "white chocolate", cinnamon, rice crisps.

The Mars Bar that Americans have are completely different to the Mars Bar that is sold worldwide. The American version has almonds while the worldwide version is just caramel and nougat. As an American who lives close to the border, I'm proud to say that I recently had a trip over there and picked up these candies. We do have some of them where I live, but they're ridiculously expensive.

One bit of sad news is that since Mondelez International purchased Cadbury, they stopped making the Halloween-sized Crunchie. It had the perfect ratio of chocolate to toffee. It's so sad. However, my bathroom scale is thankful. 🤣

The Mr Big candy bar is like a kid's version of an Oh Henry candy bar. Oh Henry is more peanut and chocolate forward with just a little drizzle of caramel. The Mr Big bar is sugar forward, with soft wafers and very sweet-tasting chocolate. Both good but I prefer a more natural peanut and chocolate taste in my candy bar.

The red print, yellow wrapper Mars bar was sold in the US and might be sold in certain major US cities. I haven't seen any Mars bar where I've now. I've had seen them in Texas and Ohio stores back in the 1990's.

I believe Canadians love peanut butter,more than two chocolates are peanut butter themed.

I can find Bounty, Coffee Crisp, and Aero in the international aisle of some local grocery stores here in Chicago. Unfortunately, we don't get Wunderbar, Mr. Big, or Caramilk. I have tried Caramilk by ordering it online and it is far better than the Caramello we get. In the Hershey/Cadbury dispute we American consumers get the shaft. Inferior Caramello, no Wunderbar, Mr. Big, or Crunchie.

Good video. Mars bars use to be sold in America. It was basically a Milky Way with almonds. The closest thing to it now in the US is an Almond Snickers.

Rocky Road candy bar was my favorite when I was a kid. It was so so so good. No longer in stores for years and years now but definitely found its way into ice cream but the candy bar was awesome. .

We actually have a couple of these here in Washington state, but I wish we had them all...yum!

I don't know if anyone needed to see this today, but Mr. Big sounds a little like a Whatchamacallit, which is delicious.

Hershey has a bar similar to bounty: "Mounds" they also have the "almond joy" which is like a Mounds with almonds. (old commercial: sometimes you feel like a nut, sometimes you don't) I wouldn't be surprised if it's the same basic bar just licenced to Hershey here in the US. Caramilk? try Caramello, the same basic thing by the US Cadbury. I also remember Mars was semi popular here in the US when i was a kid.

My favourite bar is Aero. It's best (and enjoyable) to let it melt in your mouth instead of chewing it. I have been a candy bar lover since I was a kid. I guess that may be why I am now a diabetic 😢

Well thank you for covering my list. So many favourites on the list like Mr.Big and crispy crunch. The tag line is the only thing better than your crispy crunch is someoneelse's. Two are better than one. No denying it. A few of my faves and i don't know if in USA hope someone tells me. Oh Henry bars. Regular and Reese Peanut butter. Reese peanut butter bar. A large brick of peanut butter filled chocolate. Coffe crisp is a nice light tasting snack. Like a dehydrated IceCapp. Old one not seen in decades McCormick Cuban lunch. A small two piece block of dark chocolate, peanuts ground up and a bit of a spicy kick. Just a sharpness in the chocolate not strong. Looking forward to more chapters. I will give you two facts as well. Cadbury UK and Cadbury Canada use different recipies fom eachother as well as USA. Food laws vary. And if you want a spoiler the Caramilk secret is not so very secret. They mislead you with the question itself. Its the other way round. If you want to know I'll answer back here.

I have traveled to Canada many times and love it. I bought things there every trip which I cannot get in USA. I'm not a big fan of Cadbury (popular in Australia too and likely other places like U.K.) or Nestle, though I certainly wouldn't turn down a bar from them. What I did love was the maple bacon chips from Frito-Lay and especially "Real Juicee" jumbo gums I bought in Esterhazy. 😃 Made by Dare foods. I still have a bag and I'm slowly devouring on it over months. 😋 Please keep up the good work! I enjoy your videos!

It’s actually rose water flavor (like most Turkish delight) the chocolate is not too sweet. Crispy crunch 6/10 it’s like a butterfinger pretty much Crunchie 4/10 it’s that old times hard sponge candy with chocolate on top Mars 6/10 Bounty 7/10 high quality cocoanut with milk chocolate. Nothing special but they got the recipe right. Aero 6/10 quality chocolate with bubbles in it - green mint aero is better Mirage 6/10 is the same as Aero Caramilk 6/10 soft caramel with good quality chocolate Coffee Crisp 9/10 unique and well made coffee wafer bar. “Makes a nice light snack” 🚨 MISSING 🚨 “EATMORE” 10/10 chocolatey toffee with peanuts. I don’t know how they missed this one! Not technically “chocolate”?
