I'm glad Chris was able to express and talk about what happened on his own terms. Not getting out there and talk about it to anyone except the people in his circle. Joe Rogan was correct, what Will did could sent a precedent that people who go to comedy clubs will now feel it's their right to go stage and assualt the performer. Like I've mentioned before, I've lost a lot of respect for Will Smith and I had none for his wife. I believe she chose him because Tupac isn't around.

It isn't pointless because, if it was, then he would've said something out of rage which could've been worse. He didn't, he kept quiet, kept his piece about it, and when he felt it was time for people to hear his side, he did. I agree, you can't tell someone or anyone to react or give them a timeline to react. Chris chose to express his side his own way. It's acting of your own free will. I am with you on this. Will's problem is JADA and her manipulative and strange behavior that she knows will knock Will to his knees so he doesn't leave her side. She's co-dependent, and just a filthy human being all along. Chris didn't even KNOW about Jada's medical condition before he cracked that harmless joke. To be compared to Demi Moore is an honor, she's beautiful. So I honestly don't know what crawled up Jada's vag and died, but I don't like the smell of it. Will Smith's kids are definitely ruined. At least the youngest two. The son and daughter are so strange. And you can bet your booty it's all Jada's idea and her weird method of parenting that Will got sucked into. Jada now uses her alopecia to gain sympathy. You are bald from a medical condition that has nothing to do with cancer, so you are not dying, and we're not going to feel for you when you act like a spoiled brat at the Oscars. Nah she gets no sympathy from me. All hats off to Chris for handling it the way he did.

To me what happened was obvious at the time and only became clearer after. Rock made a joke about Jada's hair, Smith laughed and she rolled her eyes. Smith saw that and knew there would be trouble later at home, unless he did something. So, he did what he thought Jada wanted. To be fair to Smith, he may have been 100% correct about her wishes. After learning how she emotionally abuses him* it made even more sense. If Smith hadn't slapped Rock, chances are there would've been drama even worse at home when she confronted him about not standing up for her. *She wasn't really on my radar except as Smith's wife before this. Discovering how he had been cucked, then forced on to Jada's podcast to talk about it pretty much sealed the deal as far as I am concerned. Some people can handle polyamorous relationships, Will Smith _is not one of them._

@@joycecypress9672 well thanks for being on the right team! Idk right after this happened, I remembered a few female African American celebs (one of them I actually really liked) saying things like “we need more men defending our women” and “we cant keep turning a blind eye to these kinds of remarks.” I don’t think Chris had ill-intent with what he said. I just think there’s a lot of friction in Jeda and Will’s relationship and Will took it out on the wrong person. I grew up watching Fresh Prince and loved Will as an actor. This really changed my perception of him and it’s unfortunate what happened.

I think people are still talking about it because it hasn't been resolved. And I'm not talking about the slap. If people do research before making judgment they would notice 3 things. Jada has always been manipulative to Will. But everyone around the situation denys it. Will has past unresolved trauma and mental health problems that came out in his youtube documentary that came out before the slap. And Chris has some problems of his own. He doesn't know or care about any line he shouldn't cross. Word hurt. Everyone in this situation has their individual problems and issues that are unresolved. That's what caused the slap. And because I have mental health issues that are mostly under control I emphasize with Will the most. Mental health issues can make you do things you cant control and having a person that is manipulating you, just makes it worse. Chris made a tone deaf joke, Will orginally laughed but as soon as he saw his wife roll her eyes, she didnt have to say a word to him, his actions were due to so much manipulation over the years, it became brainwash. And I feel for everyone involved.
@rodgill9376

Manipulations or not, actions have consequences. Oh wait... not in this case. But the Smiths are rich and privileged. If it was me who did what Will Smith did, my black ass would be in jail and charged in a heartbeat! Least I know when to keep my hands to myself and don't cause any problems.

Mental health issues does not justify assault.
@princessdawn982
@princessdawn982 Жыл бұрын
@@HJ-di1bo I didn't say it justified it. Its a look at the cause of it. It's a reason to be empathetic to the people involved. No one is 100% the victim here but no one is 100% at fault either. It's a sad situation that is only made worse by people judging both Will or Chris negatively as they both have their own problems that they need to work though separately. I'm useing mental health as a reason but if you look at the rest of the comments some people are team will and don't even say why. Go on their ass instead of on mine.

It sure revealed the kind of men Will and Chris are.. People do make bad decisions and mistakes especially in the heat of the moment. Where I lost ALL RESPECT for Will and gained love and respect for Chris was how they both dealt with the situation afterwards. The level of entitlement shown by Will and Jada is so disgusting and his attempts of apologizing were truly pathetic and just basicially insulting, I was just more then impressed by how Chris was able to deal with this situation, with such class. Although Will is so much larger then Chris in size, Chris is definitely the BIGGER MAN.

It was a lost opportunity. When Rock made that joke, I thought "how would Hollywood royalty respond?" I imagined Elizabeth Taylor simply walking out. The Academy would have fallen over themselves apologizing. When his award was announced, it would have been a coronation of a new king. Then Smith's actual response saddened me. Violence was the last thing I expected. It was as though he threw away a lifetime of achievement. It was such a stereotypical response for a former rapper.
