I actually like Deadshot from 2016 and Bloodsport from 2021 equally A lot of Deadshot’s cool characteristics shined in large part due to Will Smith’s natural charisma And Bloodsport’s aggressive attitude and accent gave me Billy Butcher vibes which was pretty awesome

Jay Courtney was amazing as captain boomerang and I was really sad and genuinely mad when they killed him off so quickly like at least give him some edge to the story he was a big part of the first one

Also, the moment where Starro was finally taken down and the people he was controlling collapsed and died was similar to when the Chitauri Mothership had exploded after Iron Man aimed the missile at it in space before he went back through the portal and the Chitauri soldiers on Earth collapsed and died.

For me peacemaker is the most interesting character because he seems to be always struggling with his own moral issues when he needs to kill someone and what makes him even more intriguing is that he will not hold back his ideals , i.e. peace at all costs,..., whether he does is right or not. And you can see it clearly that things always takes a toll on him once he reluctantly kills a good guy, particularly flagg.

I have to disagree with you on the fact that his has moral dilemmas. To me peacemaker seems to know exactly what he wants and what he has to do at all times. It might be twisted, and immoral, but it’s what he believes is right. I don’t think he felt any hesitation in killing Rick because it’s what “he had to do”

He killed Flagg because he was following orders. Amanda Waller instructed him not to let the info get out and because he's so devoted to his country, he accepted. He didn't want to kill Flagg. When he killed Flagg, he had an expression of regret and guilt

I saw the movie yesterday. I was surprised that even though Margot Robbie and Idris Elba are too billed stars, but supporting characters were the ones that were much more memorable to me at the end. Ratcatcher 2, Polka Dot Man, Nanaue, Rick Flag. Heck, even Sebastian the Rat, too. Most Interesting characters of The Suicide Squad to me: 1. Polka Dot Man 2. Rick Flag 3. Ratcatcher 2 4. Nanaue 5. Peacemaker 6. Amanda Waller 7. Sebastian the Rat 8. Bloodsport (felt like I have seen this character arc before in other movies, hence less interesting) 9. Harley Quinn (I thought this movie wasn’t really about Harley’s journey, she was more of a passenger in the grand scheme) 10. Weasel (since so little was revealed about him, that makes me curious)

@@ahmedjacuzzi5494 yeah I liked the second one way better.... everyone are treated equally, first one it's too obvious that they relied on Harley's character too much, that's why other characters didn't get people's attention too, it's kinda boring too, the story is so much predictable and the flow of it doesn't seem right...I didn't even watch it in only one sit lol I paused a lot of times because I felt it's getting boring as hell....The Suicide Squad is what should've been the first one tbh...

Idris Elba is one of my favorite modern actors, his depth and intensity in every role is always great, even in a poorly written movie like The Dark Tower his acting was great just the script sucked. (Don't get me wrong MM was great as well, but since Idris was the main character I needed to differentiate.)

She was in the original suicide squad, got her own stand alone movie in birds of prey and was one of the highlights of James Gunn's Suicide Squad. So don't tell me that she is overrated.

Bloodsport deserves to be at least in the top 3! Definitely agree with 1&2. Ratcatcher and King Shark deserve their own spin-offs!

@Jason Mistretta It's because you can play up the abuse victim aspect in soo many ways. My favorite was in the Harley Quinn TV show, where it was pointed out that while she was an abuse victim, it would be easy to blame all her life's problems ON that one aspect of her life instead of taking at least some responsibility for her part in what happened.

I finally got to see this movie, and I absolutely loved it. My favorites were Flag, Bloodsport, and Peacemaker, they made a great trio. Unfortunately they decided to kill Rick Flag.

Ummmm… I’m a little unhappy that peacemaker was labeled better than bloodsport AND flag. How is he better than the 2 of the best characters when he tried to kill both of them?! But ratcatcher 2 definitely deserves #1. No doubt there.

Peacemaker is such an interesting character because he has his own moral issues and always seems to be struggling with his own complexities whenever he needs to kill someone. Whether its right or not, he seems to not hold back his own ideology, i.e. peace at all cost, and it really makes him an intriguing character for me.

My faves were Bloodsport and Ratcatcher!! Such great standouts, I love them!!! But also loved King Shark, Polka Dot Man and Peacemaker not to mention Rick Flag and Harley (obviously love them)
