Of course Sam is telling the story... he's the hero (having killed the first walker and will come up with the solution to the rest), he's the rebel genius (having cured Jorah), he's the noble knight (having rescued Gilly) AND he gets the girl. And, unlike Jon, he doesn't get killed or have to keep getting rescued by friends.

Actually that is one of the ending predict, and the name "Song of fire and ice" is about Jon Snow, so my theory is Jon Snow is gonna die, and to a eternalize his image, Sam is writing a book about him in Westeros.

Bran is the reason the mad king was mad. “Burn them all” is bran trying to tell them to burn all the wights/white walkers

Mike Garvey Damn not giving credit to the person who made the theory. Cold. Anyway, why would he warn the mad king? You know, the king that died 25+ years before the night king invaded Westeros. No the mad king was mad because he was a product of inbreeding. He’d been setting people on fire for his entertainment for years before he devolved into complete madness. It was apparently because burning people made him feel like a dragon or something.

B Scott I thought of this myself I’m sure others have as well but I’ve never seen it posted anywhere but I was thinking it was more of a hodor thing in that bran was for some reason warging the mad king in the past and that’s why he heard voices in his head telling him to burn them all meaning the white walkers but the mad king believed it to mean people.

I thought the phrase "eye of a blue eyed giant" refers to being in the eye of a "storm" of blue eyed white walkers. Like Westeros is an offering from the rest of mankind. All the life born within Westeros is for the white walkers taking.

Another thought I had was that they are referring to astronomy and cannot relate this mind blowing information to the regular folk, so instead of saying we live on earth a blue dot in the galaxy, they say what they say.

Theory! Bran is all the Brans. He goes back in time trying to influence the Mad King to burn the walkers, who goes mad like Hodor and shouts "Burn them all!" When that doesn't work he tries several other ways to stop the white walkers until he goes so far as to build the wall as Bran the builder. Here the story can go two ways. 1. He tries to stop the children of the forest from creating the walkers and humans begin to hunt them under his command, making the children of the forest feel obligated to create the walkers as a result. The children catch Bran and turn him into the Night king, which explains why the night king can see Bran in Brans visions - because they're linked. Bran can no longer go back to real time, because as explained in the past, if he wargs for too long he will end up loosing himself within the thing he wargs into. Bran as the night king realizes that in order to set the things in motion that will eventually bring peace to the world he is destined to become the thing that endangers it and sets out on a quest to do so - finally accepting that everything has already happened like the three eyed raven told him and he cannot change the past. 2. Bran reunites with the children of the forest and becomes the three eyed raven. He realizes that in order for him to become what he is the white walkers need to exist so he tells the children to create the night king and begins his long wait for his younger, original self to come to him, which explains why he knew the night king had touched Bran and why he says "It's time for you to become me!". Either way the story starts and ends with Bran.

What about the theory that Jaqen H'ghar is actually Rhaegar Targarian? I know that part of the theory involves the fact that Arya was told that she looked much like her aunt Liana, and that was why Jaqen initially took an interest in her.

I think this would make the most sense story wise. It would be very satisfying to see Cersei beeing killed by Jamie, and it would also redeem Jamie, especially if he saves lots of people by that act (and that would also be history repeating, but this time with a much better ending for Jamie).

@@danielknapp159 I disagree. She's number one on Arya's list. She was headed that way to kill her before she heard about Jon. Everything about the prophecy has come true. The last part states Cersei will die at the hands of her youngest siblings hands around her neck. It obviously could just be straight up Tyrion, or Jaime. But I feel thats a bit bland for George's writing. Nonetheless I'll just be happy when she's dead. I know we can agree on that. Ps this is the first time I was ever able to have a civil discussion on youtube. Cheers

@@randumbnass the Hound was on Arya's list too. Don't think she will kill him. I think it wouldn't make that much sense if it's Arya who kills Cersei. Sure, Cersei has done some bad things to her... But I think it would feel like some token if Arya constantly puts on the face of someone else and kills people. She already did that with Walder Frey. She trained as a faceless... Person. But she didn't end the Training and she also didn't do it because she actually wanted to become an assasine, but because she wanted to stop feeling helpless and all. She is not no one, she is becomming Arya Stark again. And from a story point of view, it would make so much more sense if it's actually Jamie. First, that kinda would be history repeating (which they always say is what is happening all the time). Second, all bad things Jamie did were because of Cersei. He is on a path to redeem himself, and this would be the only way he would truly be able to do so. He can fight alongside Jon etc, but untill Cersei is alive, there will always be the possibility of him going back to her and getting into his old habits. Him killing her is kinda poetic, fitting and full circle imo. (I don't believe Cersei will survive the series though. But I think neither will Jamie).

I think the night king is gonna raise all the dead starks in the crypts of winterfell. They said the crypt is the safest place wayyyy too many times and the night king doesn’t have to touch corpses to raise them. He raised everyone at hardhome without touching any of them

When Bran visited Ned at the tower of love, Ned could faintly hear Bran even though he is not magical through the bloodline of the Starks. I believe that this Night King is also someone of the stark lineage because he was able to see when Bran visited him through his consciousness.

I've kind of thought to myself that every character with an offscreen death no matter how likely it is they're dead like Stannis Baratheon, Syrio Forel, and The Blackfish could potentially be brought back as warriors for the lord of light, but that's not really based on anything except for the fact those characters died offscreen

That is what I believe. He either full-on betrays her, betrays her and then has a change of heart, or is a double agent secretly betraying Cersei the whole time to get ahead of her plans and help the good guys.

It's ridiculous to think Jon profoundly loves Dany. Yes, the Azor Ahai prophecy says he killed his one true love to bring forth Lightbringer, but Jon doesn't love Dany that deeply. Jorah, on the other hand, truly loves Dany. That would be a true sacrifice for Jorah to do it!

Game of thrones has been surprising us throughout the seasons. A happy ending would technically be very surprising, so it could be a probability. What if the actors were told to say their fake reactions to the ending, so no one could know that it is a happy ending. Personally an ending where the white walkers win would be such lazy writing, it would completely ruin the entire series, it’s character development and story arcs.

The most established trait of Game of thrones is that there are no happy endings in it's realm... That's why it's will be a major twist and surprise if the series ends on a happier note... Most cast members are telling the media that the ending will be shocking and bitter sweet.. But it may be a misdirect...

There is also a theory of Samwell Tarly and that he is actually the first born son of Rhaegar & Elia Martell (Rhaegar's 1st marriage). A highborn baby Varys took to Randyll Tarly (the only commander to have defeated Bobby B in battle) to raise as his own . This makes him a Targaryen, the first of his name and rightfull heir to the throne. Rhaegar was obsessed with the azora ahai prophecy so he yes also named him Aegon Targaryen (VI) brother of John Snow (Aegon Targaryen VII). That is why in the scene where Maester Aemen with his last dying breath calls for Aegon / "EGG" more than once (which seemed at the time so out of place) and guess who was there sitting with him... no one else but Samwell Tarly / Aegon Targaryen. Probably the biggest easter EGG in all of television.

I could totally see Littlefinger still being alive, he has ancestors from Braavos right? The faceless man theory makes sense. I could also definitely see Terion trying to make a deal with Cersei that at the time seems like the only option, then maybe give him a chance to redeem himself and save the day hopefully

Well they confirmed GoT will have a bittersweet ending. So that drops the theory with White Walkers winning out of the water. Because if they do win, everybody else dies. There's nothing sweet about that. Unless, of course, they lied.

Actually, Bran could do various things... he could influence Bran the Builder into building a wall, building Winterfell (where winter will fall) and the Stark's motto Winter is coming to prepare them (if it wasn't for the Starks, the walkers would have walked right through)... he could influence the Mad King (like he did Hodor) into yelling "Burn Them All" and getting crazy by doing so... he could be drowned into a past memory of the Night King (something the 3-eyed Raven warned him about) and be stuck in him up until now... he could take control of a dragon... Sooo many possibilities with Bran. He has special abilities and they could be the key to win this war or to explain it and the story that lead to this.

One problem with 6: there is NO indication that Cersei had a dark-haired child in the books - due to her incestuous relationship with Jaimie. That scene with Cersei in the tower was added so the audience would feel sorry for her and the loss of “child” - to humanize her character. And we know that Rob must be the father since he fathered several bastards with dark hair. Therefore, Gendry is a bastard. Also since Cersei and Joffrey ordered the needless and cruel execution of bastards (needless, as in bastards have no legal rights so they cannot pose a threat to any heirs whatsoever - it says so in the books, and cruel as in the slaughtering of children), but the theory claims that Gendry is not a bastard, then wouldn’t that be all the more reason to have him cease to be? So that her son Joffrey would continue to stay on the throne?

On the episode “THE DOOR” When Bran is in the cave with the three eyed raven, touches the branch and he’s walking through the crowd of the dead and gets “MARKED”, did anybody else notice that the “ARROWHEAD”mountain is in the background and that’s the same spot where the “THE NIGHT KING” is basically waiting for Dany to show up with her dragons. And I think in exchange for getting one of the dragons he gives them one of the dead man to take back and basically warn them for war ( THE LONG “NIGHT” ) find it interesting that it’s the same spot with BRAN, JOHN, DANY, THE NIGHT KING, THE DRAGONS AND EVEN UNCLE BENJIN and that it’s going to be a pivotal returning spot for Brandon when he discovers how you can move through time just throwing it out there! Thoughts?
