It's sad that we couldn't get new Spyro games because of the goddamn Skylanders games. Hopefully, the Spyro Re-Ignited remaster of the original Spyro games is successful enough for Sony to greenlight another game.

jackjack121 dont be surprised, Disney is known to kill of game studios and game franchise and unique ip's , i like how people are mad at EA for their business practise, trust me Disney is much more worse and the vast majority of people dont even know it. once the money starts to roll in from kids asking their parents for its DLC, then BAM *shutdown* disney is the very same company that gave the rights to EA to developed battlefront, the game that the vast majority of the gaming community hated. the sad thing is Disney 'Allowed' the microtransaction aspect, and they didnt get any shit from it. think about it, EA sat in room with disney's corporate laying out what will be implemented in their game, the fact that it leaves the meeting room that is a sign that Disney Greenlighted the idea lol.

Fortnite definitely copied the mode but it's a completely different play style due to building etc. In my eyes its like COD suing battlefield because they have a team deathmatch!!

Sorry, but Giana Sisters doesn't belong on this list. Yes, it was a rip-off - but a damn good one. It was one of the best playable jump'n'runs on the Commodore 64 and a great technical achievement for the old computer. Sadly, WatchMojo doesn't show that version, which had a legendary soundtrack by Chris Hülsbeck and better sound-fx. And it definitely didn't fail, because it was one of the most popular C64 games ever made - and even a lot of NES players admitted, that it was a very good "copy".

Also has had multiple sequels on multiple platforms. Pretty much every modern console platform has a Giana game available. Twisted Dreams, Giana 2d and Giana Runners are all on Steam. Hardly a "failed" ripoff.

King Merck They tried to remain original, but they died off quickly as they tried to go against games at their peak. So they weren't rip offs, but they just couldn't compete with games that already had an audience.

To the Great Gianna Sisters credit, it started as a port of Super Mario to European computers of the time, but Nintendo wasn't interezted so they tried to salvage the game as a new property to make money for their work. Now if you play the DS remake or the newer game GS Twisted Dreams, those games are a blast to play!

Manny Garcia PlayStation All-Stars was a good game with a pretty good cast of characters, was supported for over a year, and had a dedicated community. It wasn't in the level of Smash Bros, but not to the level of Cartoon Network Punchtime Explosion, either.

How can it called rip-off to Tomb Raider when Indiana Jones is standing right there since the 80s? Beside Uncharted is a whole different game. From style, game mechanic, storyline, etc. Compared to pre reboot Tomb Raider back then.

unearth الترجمة الاسم الاصلي هوا الركاز في اثر ابن بطوطة وبعدين على اساس انه انشرادت ما اخذة افكار وقلدت تومب رايدير وحتى تومب رايدر قلدت لعبة اندينا جونز قبلها وغير كذا لو كانت نظرة الناس مهمة لهذي الدرجة ليش ما تسوي استديو عربي لتطوير الالعاب بدل الانتقاد بدون توفير حل بديل

Well, Sonic Shuffle was the reason why I wanted a Dreamcast. I have all seven Sonic games for the Gamecube, and noting that Sonic Shuffle didn't make it to the Gamecube for understandable reasons, that didn't stop me from wanting it. That's just how supportive I am of the Sonic series despite his flops in recent times. I'm comforted to know that, although Sonic Shuffle made this list, it didn't make the top five.

Actually Paladins was announced before Overwatch, Blizzard developed a game called Titan but it failed so they made a game with the same mechanic of Paladins, It seemed Paladins is a rip off because of the character designs which took inspirations from Overwatch's characters, Overwatch was released first but that doesn't mean that they made the game mechanics first, Either way they're both fun games no point in arguing anymore cuz they're just games.

Actually, most of the characters in Paladin are taken from their older game called Global Agenda, which if I remember correctly, most of the abilities in Paladins were in GA, which means Overwatch took shit from GA.

The problem with Infinite Crisis? The game was in beta and super buggy, and on my 1st login after I got my invite, they had skins for sale. Yeah, they had a full-on micro-transaction model available before the game was even in a releasable state.

The WahMaster A rip-off is a game that copies another game and fails. Uncharted was a massive success. And besides, it was primarily inspired by Indiana Jones, not Tomb Raider.

Tim Sheppard How can even the new TR games be a ripoff of Uncharted, when the TR series has been around for 20 years?! The first uncharted game only came out in 2007, at that time tr already had its first reboot, and the next one in 2013. Besides there's like 0 things that the TR series could take from Uncharted, that hasn't already been done before.
