While I do agree that Roy is a bit over rated, but I wouldn't say he is Corrin level of character. He has an inferiority complex as shown with his supports with Lance and Cecilia and Lilina. Also while he always seems bland in the story he shows in his support with Shanna that this is a bit of a facade as he asks her how she always so happy. He also shows that he not only a kind soul, but almost every conflict in his support has Roy coming back saying something like, "Hey maybe I was a bit too focused on MY thoughts," showing not only that he is young but that he is trying to better himself. Lastly his support with Sophia shows all of this. Sophia feels like she let down Roy and can't be of any real help aka showing her insecurities. Roy realizes this and gives his support cause he also does not have the greatest confidence in himself. He lifts her up for a selfless reason and does so without much thought. Again not the most complex but considering the fact that Corrin is basically just a Mary Sue, it is not the same. Sorry this was so long just got a bit too passionate and to be honest I could still go but I'll stop. Thanks if you read all of this blaze and I love your content and I can't wait for the next video.

Happy to see ma boy Gonzales here. Seriously, gameplay wise turns out to be a wrecking machine if you recruit him on the right path. I've seen him slaughter 4 promoted units in a single turn with an iron axe (Chapter 21, to be specific). They were spear users, and he had a support with Lilina but still... Character wise he has one of the most heartwarming endings: After all the shit he went trough in his native island, he returned there after the war... and he was hailed as a hero.

Binding Blade was the first Fire Emblem game I ever played, and it will always have a special place in my heart. Roy was the entire reason I got into Fire Emblem in the first place because I loved his character in Super Smash Bros so much that I wanted to get the game he was originally from. He might be one of the weakest lords in the series, but he will always be my favorite character, and him and Lilina will always be my favorite couple in the series.

I'd have a lot of the same in my Top 10, especially Lilina, Percival and Miledy. But I have 1 major favorite different: Echidna. I love her rough and tumble rebel leader attitude, I'm always a sucker for a "Bifauxen" design and she has a good one, plus it was so cool to finally see a Female Hero class. her unique sprite helps too. I'm fond of Igrene too.

i would say "Poor Corrin" but I completely agree with that assessment and following action.

No one beats Lugh! He is my favorite Fire Emblem character. TBH I don't even care if everyone has a problem with Roy being a lame character with a bland personality, I think he's awesome. And has definitely the lord of the game, not Lilina, although she is badass even if she is frail.

In regards to Lilina, I agree with at least some of what you said. And I find her situation in FE6 to be even more emotional if Lilina really is Lyn's daughter, as FE7 implies. As her familial situation, in some respects, mirrors Lyn's. Even her marriage situation shares aspects with Lyn's, assuming Roy's her canon husband, considering what pairing FE6 is implying to be canon.

I'm on chapter 9 of my first playthrough of Binding Blade so far, and let me just say I am in LOVE with Dieck and Lugh. They're the current MVPs of my playthrough, and I honestly doubt that'll change. This may seem like a stretch to some, but Dieck is my favorite Mercenary in the whole Fire Emblem series, at least out of the game's I have played, he is so good and his level ups have been amazing, his strength, skill, and speed were all capped at level 15 and all his other stats are doing just fine as well, and he literally KILLS the weapon triangle by being able to defeat literally every unit he comes across and he's my current go to boss killer when everyone else is having trouble. Lugh is in a similar boat, being able to defeat bosses reliably well too, though Dieck does do a better job than him. His stats for a level 12 mage are rather good, having 20 HP, 10 magic, 12 skill, 16 speed, 10 luck, 4 defense, and 8 resistance. He is a bit frail due to his rather low HP and defense, but he's an incredible dodge champ surprisingly, right up there with Clarine actually, so his rather poor bulk is actually not too much of a problem there, and he makes mincemeat of anyone that dares approach him in combat Some other units I rather enjoy using is Rutger, Lot, Bors, and surprisingly Noah, I haven't heard many good things about him, but he's turning out rather well to be honest, I think he'll make a great Paladin. Once Lilina gains some more levels I imagine I'll love her just as much as Lugh. I already love her character, now I just gotta get her to the point where she can be a true powerhouse

Well, thanks for making this list, BLAZINGKNIGHT. It nice to know that each Fire Emblem game has at least one character of a certain class is one of your favorites in them. For me, the classes that have done that with me so far are Swordmasters and Sages. I have made 2 lists of who are the representatives of those classes of each game. Here's my list for Sages: Shadow Dragon- Linde, Blazing Sword- Pent, Sacred Stones-Lute, Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn- Ilyana and Soren, Awakening- Miriel, Fates- Leo, and Echoes- Delthea. Here's my list for Swordmasters (except for Echoes, since the sword using units in that game end up as Dread Fighters): Shadow Dragon- Navarre, Blazing Sword- Guy (current playthrough), Sacred Stones- Joshua, Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn- Mia(if it wasn't obvious enough already.), Awakening- Lon'qu, and Fates- Ryoma and Hana. Also, why did you make that skit about forgetting Elise?!

This game has so many good characters you need to play it a lot of times to really get it. Talking in terms of battle performance and story... All the GBA games were really good in this aspect.

I loved Shanna as a character. While not strongest I thought she was good and I paired her with Roy. Diek was one of my best units. I also really enjoyed the relationship he had with his comrades Sue I definitely think is the daughter of Lyn based on the ending of Rath and Lyn in Blazing Sword as well as how Sue described her parents Rutger was great. In fact Myrmidons and Swordmasters are my favorite class in the series

I personally L.O.V.E mounted units my personal favorite of course being the very basic mounted knight the Cavalier due to the fact that it has so many options for different uses need a long range unit but don't want to give up movement? Bow knights are just what you need, want to make your paladin into a beast but don't want a tank or the other way around then if you don't want a tank go for gold with the Golden Knight and if you want a tank great Knight is ready and willing to give hell to your foes!, want a flyer? Pegasus Knights are at your fingertips! And you simply want to make your cavalier stronger? Get good with Paladin. Of course I also love the sword master class it's my third favorite next to Knights in second place but overall I love this series and I'm glad I decided to play it. I've never played binding blade before in fact like most I got interested in fire emblem from both my big bro Hunter and playing smash bros with him I love sword users in game like smash bros because you can beat the living shit out of people up close and personal then say if near a lege "THIS! IS! SPARTA!"

Though it is true that Binding Blade in general is similar to Shadow Dragon/Mystery of the Emblem, that would explain why Roy is a clone of Marth in Smash (though I'm disappointed that you left that out). But, that just a theory; a game theory!

Clarine is a good unit? That's news to me. I'll use her next time I play BInding Blade. Also, thanks for putting Gonzales, Sue and Lillina in this top. They are some of my favourite units in the game

I got a nice idea for the next FE game, thinking about the huge Bern invasion. Make the game based off an isolated country that is split into 3 or 4 kingdoms that have no aggressive quarrels with each other. Then suddenly these people arrive in this country and attempt to conquer it, conquering the kingdoms and forcing them to fight the lord's kingdom. The bases of the the game could be you travelling kingdom to kingdom trying to liberate them while the people back in your country are giving up hope on the situation and siding with the invaders. This could create a scenario of mass confusion and chaos which suits how an invasion of an unknown entity would be like, travelling between the kingdoms, liberating settlements and cities before finally liberating your own kingdom.

@BLAZINGKNIGHT also wanted to ask your opinion about which route to take at the crossroads section, I've read go with the Lalum & Echidna route for the only female Merc an Lalum being a dodge tank instead of Elphin I think his name is being a bulkier bard...?

I just found out something that Binding Blade & Fates have in common with you, Blazing. Both of them have a number one character who is a female Wyvern Rider. (Watch his Top 10 Conquest Character list and you'll know what I mean.)
