"All that glitters", words that have struck awe in all mankind from inception. Gold relates to the Sun and the Sun relates to life itself. As history progressed, the Sun related to God therefore it followed that God was gold. God in turn anointed certain humans as leaders. Humans adorned themselves in gold in the belief of their appointment by God. All that glitters maybe gold, however in the human hands, the glitter does tarnish if figuratively only. For all its beauty in nature, gold has debatably done more harm than good than any other metal in the history of man. Hello friend. I hope all is well with you.

Let's not forget.. the Sumerians measured time by 60.. something we still do today & easily take for granted.. What I found so extraordinary in all..that Golden Ram found in UR.. known to be where Abraham came from.. & covered in Lapis Lazuli? Wow.. the only source was/is then known as the Indus valley Civilization.. where Afghanistan was a part of.. 2500 BC?? I did some checking.. it was the harappan who sought trade w.the Sumerians.. they brought their lapis.. peacock eggs.. & OPIUM... so exciting to find objects from UR

Hi Andrew! Remember that gold stretches over time. I love turquoise set in yellow gold, so much more beautiful than in silver. I'm also of the belief that men should wear silver & women should wear gold. Pls do one on Pomodoro gold, they make lovely yellow gold jewelry. Most of these are flimsy, creaky looking frail gold pieces not solid thick gold... Not really treasure.
