What’s your FAVORITE grocery store?

Trader Joe's & Aldi are owned by the same family. One brother owns one company and the other brother owns the other. You'll see some similarities between the 2 stores in various products. I love both!

LOVE LOVE LOVE ALDI! I can afford organic veggies because of Aldi. Grass fed beef - yes! I love making charcuterie boards ALL from Aldi. Free range eggs also. I have my 'other ' grocery store on the way home for things I can't find at Aldi. Love it so much!

Some of them do have chicken bone broth (not just chicken stock) and it's organic! My Aldi has organic chicken bone broth and I think it has been the best price I've found on it anywhere. I know they were out of eggs, but some locales have the big containers of egg whites, organic whole eggs, and these really awesome single serving cups of smashed avocado that I can pop into my lunch easily. It's totally worth checking out another location if you happen to be in the area for other things. They're all so different!

First Aldi opened in Germany in 1913. My first time in Aldi was as a kid in 1999 in Germany.

I love shopping at Aldi!! I shop there for 90% of my grocery list and go somewhere else for the things I can’t find there. You should definitely check out other ALDIs because they’re all different in terms of what they carry! Love that you did an Aldi haul!

I love aldi for organic meats and produce, eggs, specialty cheeses, and clean snacks. They normally have free-range organic eggs at a great price.

There is a big different in aldi stores! Mine has bone broth and you walk into the produce section FIRST! All the snacks and such are more hidden in the middle and perimeter is very produce, meat, dairy focused!

I live in North Carolina and your Aldi looks similar to our Aldi's here. They keep prices down by not "presenting" food like a regular store and by all of us returning our carts for that precious quarter for the next time. Please fact check this, but I heard that Aldi and Trader Joes are owned by the same company and they clearly have different goals for each store.

I love Aldi!! The closest one to me is 50 minutes away and I think it's worth the drive.

The Aldi near me (in Alabama) has the produce section first and has a huge selection. I remember when we lived in Cali that one had junk first and was tiny. I love shopping at Aldi for my kids especially because none of their products have dyes! They also have the best deal on organic DHA milk that I like to get for my babes.

Aldi has been my go-to since I became a stay at home mom 7 years ago. Super budget friendly and now that I’m focusing on healthy fuel for my body, they are by far my favorite place to get all the things🥗🌱

I don't shop at Aldi all the time but its right next to my Costco so usually when I go there I'll go into Aldi as well but I can usually find pretty good quality organic fresh berries at better prices then other places including Walmart. They do have a very impressive selection of cheeses & meats there at pretty good prices but name brand to me seems kind of similar to Walmart. The store is def fun to just explore as well & find new things!!

I love my Aldi! I have only been shopping there the last couple of years myself. I am pescatarian and I recently went gluten free... They have a number of really great gluten free options at affordable prices. Various fruits and veggies, and fresh ginger root which I buy regularly. I also get caught up in their home goods aisles as well. Lots of nice seasonal items at great prices.

Aldi is pretty much the only store I shop at besides Costco. They have really stepped up their game on clean and organic options over the years. Stick with them. Getting better all the time!! And I feel like the more social media that's out there about what they could do better on, the better they get. 💚

Aldi is my standard place to shop, mostly because the prices are significantly lower than other chains in my area. I don't have a Trader Joe's, Costco, or a Whole Foods within an hour of where I live, so Aldi is the best, most budget friendly option. I find that they usually do have quite a good selection of organic produce, but it can take some exploring because sometimes the organic options are mixed in and sometimes they are shelved near each other. Apples, berries, celery, grape tomatoes, zucchini and fresh spinach are things I buy there regularly and they usually have organic available. I also like the grass fed beef, organic chicken, and wild caught fish and seafood. Also, a fairly good selection of whole grain Seedtastic breads I also usually try to buy organic milk which has a much better price than other large chains. I've heard that they do have a grass fed milk option in some stores, but it's not everywhere and I've never seen it at my local Aldi. One tip you might want to use is making your list with the Instacart app, before shopping. That way you can see what is available at the local store before you go. Also, store staff is usually very helpful in finding items. Lastly, bringing your own reusable bags is helpful and saves time and money. Just a few ideas for your next Aldi visit.

Aldi is our absolute favorite!! We have bone Broth in ours (next to chicken Broth) and we walk straight into the produce at our store! It's true that you will need to hit up another store for those extra little things❤

It's definitely worth trying the other Aldi's in your area. I have noticed a big difference between stores. I love Aldi, but there are a couple things that I can't find there sometimes, mostly produce. So I usually buy as many things as I can from my list at Aldi, then swing by a different store for any remaining items.

I shop at Aldi’s to pick up a few things (Everything sourdough bread, Vegan meatballs, hummus, veggies, cheese, Chomps meat sticks, prosciutto, grass fed ground beef and beef stew meat, some snack foods, Irish butter, organic tofu, and I always check out their weekly specials). Their Specially Select and Simply Nature brands are good. I still have to go to Publix to pick up other groceries.

Im in Australia, and I mainly shop at ALDI. i usually pay around $350 - $450 every two weeks for 8 of us. Although i buy Dairy and some household items at another store. And often have to replace items during our "off" week.

I don’t tend to food shop anywhere else Katie here in the UK. I’ve never been one for brands and find it easy to stick to healthy food and get what I need from Aldi. If I compare the same grocery list I take to Aldi and shop at ASDA ( US Walmart) I can pay anything up 25% more!!! It’s a no brainier for me !! Glad you like it x

I love shopping at Aldi because I save so much money. Keep in mind that every store is laid out differently. Mine has produce in the front with many organic options. However, most of the produce are out by midday, so I shop in the morning.

I love aldi! It kinda stinks its never a one shop stop (I pick up what I can't find there, at walmart). I really appreciate these grocery store hauls so I know exactly what to buy! I'm currently 6 months postpartum and definitely have found lots of fast food/ junk food/ processed foods have snuck into my diet on the regular. I really want to get back to basics.

Love Aldi! The new ones are set up so that produce is first when you walk in. I always walk down the Aldi finds isle - you never know what you will find! Especially toys/gifts for kids.

I shop at Aldi on a regular basis and it is one of my favorite grocery stores! I have to say I learned a couple of things on your video that I wasn't aware of that I will pick up on my next trip to Aldi! Thank you! My other favorite is Costco!

I would say to venture out and check out another. Your store did look pretty small. I've seen much bigger produce sections in others. They get fresh produce in every day and it's usually really good quality. They're a German company so you can find some cool things you don't see at other stores. I have to admit I'm still getting over the shock of someone never having heard of Aldi, lol I'm 51 and they've been around for the majority of my life. I saw someone below say they didn't have them in their state so maybe they're more prominent in the midwest (I just recently started watching you so not sure where you're located). I just googled and there's 26 Aldi stores within a 20-25 mile radius. Whoa! Anyhoo...love the list, thank you! I'll be taking that on my next trip.

Funny thing is I don’t shop at Aldi when we’re at home. BUT, this past summer when we visited our daughter in Ireland, and when we took a side trip to Spain, we only shopped at Aldi! We loved it!❤ I honestly don’t know why we haven’t checked out our local Aldi. I think I should give it a try.😊

Some can be more picked through where others seemed to be stocked better. I haven’t been to one in a while, but might have to give them another try after watching your haul! Def need more grocery hauls at these types of stores. Every little bit helps these days!!

For sure check out other Aldi if within reasonable distance from you. Every Aldi Is a bit different just like other grocery stores of like names. For example at my Aldi you do walk in and they have produce close to the door plus we also have self check outs which not many do yet. As for the cheese and nut snacks that Aldi has those are a dupe for name brand Sargento ones sold at other grocery stores.

I didn't like that you gave a thumbs down for not having something. If they had a bad quality version only, I would understand. The beef was grass fed, not grass finished. Still much better than regular beef. Here, their eggs are normally cheaper than any other store. They normally have very good prices on macadamia and pistachio nuts. Mine usually has organic berries and tomatoes. I like buying flats of black beans, black olives, sliced mushrooms, and fire roasted tomatoes. They normally have a good price on beef and frozen salmon. I like to put some olive oil in the bottom of my skillet. Then put a bag of frozen broccoli layered. Then put 2-4 pieces of salmon on top of that. Then some pepper lemon and/or vegetable seasoning on. Put the lid on and cook at medium low. I put the salmon in frozen, so being on top of the broccoli stops the skin from being mushy. The seasonings I use have sugar in them. I mostly use regular seasonings for the no sugar. I use the ones with sugar once in a great while. Check through their cheeses. Sometimes they carry raw cheese.

Any Aldi I have walked into has the produce right in front. I love the reduced sodium sprouted bread.

I needed another opinion on Aldi's. I have never been impressed, until you brought out their healthy items. I view Aldi in a better way now. Thank you.

Aldi is my go to grocery store. In and out so quickly. Most affordable option. Great items on the shelves.

My aldi must haves are the 100 calorie almond/walnut packs (usually $3.76 for a pack of 6), the individual serve roasted red pepper hummus (it’s a serving under 100 calories and nutritional value is way higher than the name brands in other stores), combination spices (generally never have added sugar it’s just the spices plus there is an annual bbq rub with zero sugar that makes great chicken), organic microwave rice & quinoa, grass fed brown eggs, and the spring mix you mentioned (under $5 and it will last me for 8-10 days, 2 meals per day when at its freshest at the the time of purchase). There are so many other things but these are on my regular list! Love this video ❤

ALDI is my favorite grocery store!!

You'll love it because it's different every week... and they do carry chicken & beef Bone Broth in cartons, just not the day you came. About 50% of the store changes over a 2 week period. Everywhere there are new seasonal items. So Shop slowly... you might find a Dutch oven for an amazing price. Also they do have cauliflower crust refrigerated pizzas ...it's excellent. They also have a great selection of goat & sheep cheeses. And if you like stinky cheeses & not pay $12 ,a pound... the Blue Stilton is less then 1/2 the $. And pass the message to buy only "Pasture-Raised" chicken eggs are the only ones you should buy. Aldi have them. Irish butter, and try the Slightly smoked Salmon w/ a slab of regular. When crumbled in a salad together the regular fish w the smoked tones the smoke ... delishes. The frozen shrimp comes in the frozen foods in a variety of was... I got hooked on batter air fried Pickle stuffed shrimp (crazy right?) then they have coconut shrimp or cilantro on skewer shrimp... there are party players of Thia style stuffed or rolled in a rice flour shrimp.... but these come & go as the seasons do. We don't want summer to end but, whoever in charge pulls those things from under you until next year 🤞same with Aldi You're commendable in telling folks about sugar, but sugar is added to EVERYTHING! It's a massive & powerful lobby created by 2 brothers who own sugar plantations... It's nearly impossable to control, but what's worse... for us Boomers, salt... Please watch those #'s too... but what's even worse are the 5 artificial sweetners that ARE NOT CLEARLY written on the packages we buy. You're such a lovely lady & people listen to you... heck I did... but here's 3 on the list of real killers according to the Mayo Clinic... The worst of the worst culprits include aspartame (found in Equal and NutraSweet), sucralose (found in Splenda), and Saccharin (found in Sweet 'N Low). Many people who cut artificial sugars out of their diets report the improvement of many health problems including migraines, depression, IBS, weight gain, and more. Good Health, & visit Lidl, if you have one. Like Aldi but a bit more Western European influence in food selections & bigger. EAT SLOWLY & Enjoy and taste everything you put in your mouth with pleasure.

The Aldi in Illinois are the same but not every Aldi locations have the same items. I would suggest checking out other ones. Milks at my store they have coconut milk, almond milk unsweetened, and regular milk.

We have one grocery store in my small town and it sucks so bad!!! The next closest is about 2/2.5 hours away... we have no variety it's so sad, and you have to really watch the expiration dates and fresh produce because it spoils so fast here(mountain town in Wyoming)... I get so jealous of the Aldi's, trader joes,and whole foods everyone else has 😂

I am obsessed with Aldi! Basically the only place I shop. The thing about Aldi though is that each location can be very different. And many many items are seasonal/inconsistent. My Aldi's entrance is straight into produce, not snacks. They're all set up differently.

Love our brand new Aldi Store in Valdosta, Georgia! Great finds without the sugar added, gluten, etc. I love feeding my family with Organic, especially with these prices! The meat is great and my favorite find is the Alaskan Salmon, fresh caught, affordably priced, and Delicious!✨

I shop at Aldi for some things but I've had a hard time finding healthy items there overall.

My favorite stores are the little markets in my small town but outside that Kroger and Meijer.

We re-discovered Aldi a few months ago and love it! Also, they have Kombucha and great brown rice and quinoa pastas. The produce section doesn't have a lot but their prices are even better than Wal-Mart. Thanks for the printable list, it's great!

I love shopping at Aldi! It makes eating healthy affordable for me. My Aldi does seem bigger than the one you visited. They have a brand that is gluten free and they have the best pretzels that I use as a “cheat snack” (even though they’re still pretty healthy) I also love their “Aldi finds” section because they have the cutest decorations and household items! Sometimes they have cute tops and sweaters too!

Aldi's is the bomb! Agree they do have junk in the door way... but they have great finds too! Where I live there is not a Whole Foods or Trader Joes, so I am an Aldi's shopper. One thing I have noticed is that they will have awesome products for a few weeks, then they are gone; never to be seen again. This year they have great fall finds too! You have to read the labels and know what is healthy or not, but I feel like you need that in all stores. I'd love to see more Aldi halls... each season has different things. Thanks for this one!

I can't believe how many things you put a thumbs down too. You can definitely eat very healthy by eating at Aldi. It's my first stop every week. All Aldi stores must not be the same.

I loved the video! I haven’t shopped at aldi in about 12 years and it wasn’t my favorite. But they could have upgraded their selection since then. We don’t have an Aldi near us now but we have something similar called Lidl and they have a nice selection of grass fed meats and other clean choices.

Aldi is the best place for speciality cheeses and meats! I always get my holiday Mac and Cheese cheeses from there and I love the dairy, egg and meat prices. I read an article that said Aldi and Trader Joe’s are created and owned by brothers. I LOVE Trader Joe’s but it a drive to Nashville 😢 Thank you for sharing ❤

The few Aldis near me have fresh produce right in the front, but I know some are set up differently. I like going there especially because it forces me to use my own bags, which uses less plastic. It doesn't have a lot of the big box brands, which keeps me from getting too many unhealthy snacks, but can be annoying if I need something specific for a recipe or am looking for a specific brand. They also get you near checkout with lots of random stuff, like organization for the kitchen, cat beds, outside things... But in the area I live, I know it's a very affordable grocery store for lower income folks who want fresh produce and aren't looking for much variety.

I like to keep canned tuna in the pantry for a quick lunch in a pinch. My ALDI has 85cent tuna pouches packed in water. They’re delicious. Also, they have organic baby food pouches for 85 cents that I keep on hand for my daughter.

I love Aldi. And every Aldi is different. My Aldi the first thing when you walk in is all produce. Alcohol is complete opposite side. And the majority of the stuff at my Aldi is organic or geared towards being healthier. I think it’s great for the average family who is on a budget or even just being money savvy. I even did a price comparison between Aldi and Food Lion I was able to get the same stuff different name label of course but same stuff for a fraction of the price. Also great for back to school stuff. I am able to get all of my kids stuff there. And the decor section is cute too.

If you like Trader Joe's, then you will like Aldi, it's TJ's parent company. It's a European grocery store, people in Europe only shop for a few days worth of food, so this way they buy fresh ingredients more frequently.

Loved this grocery haul! I did not know what an ALDI's was until a couple years ago lol. I like shopping there now! Good to see some of your finds I hadn't seen before. So my ALDI's has pasture raised eggs but oddly enough they are sometimes out of eggs or say organic blueberries. Happy grocery shopping!

I love shopping at Aldi. I do my weekly shopping there. Check out the Parmesan cheese crisps have 13 grams of protein with just a few ingredients, also their organic sliced cold cuts, coconut cashew crisp, organic frozen fruits, honey, avocado and virgin olive oil, chopped nuts in the baking section, squeezable unsweetened apple pouches and so much more 😂
