Yes, it is weird. To tell you the truth I don't know if I'd have enjoyed it. Spawned too many soulless bands and veered towards "hair metal" territory. Which is still better than rap, trap or whatever passes for "popular" music these days

Cliff had the most diverse music taste of them all. Go look at his dad talking about all the records he had. In fact Metallica are famous for making the Misfits mainstream but James didn't even like punk at all it was all Cliff introducing him to bands like misfits and such.

Man, seeing that Pantera clip was a kick in the stomach. I wish I was 16 again, throwing back some Jack and blaring that Pantera, getting ready to go crack some heads. Or, watching Pantera's home videos, so drunk that I was talking to Dimebag through my shoe (which had somehow become a phone), and professing my undying loyalty to the band lol! I miss the good old days! RIP Dime & Vinnie, you allowed for some awesome memories!

I saw that version of Pantera get booed off the stage opening for anthrax during the among the living tour. Everyone thought they were just another glam band

Yes! A DC 101 T-shirt! That was the best rock station back in the day!!! Everyone was shocked when Dee Snyder was so well spoken and educated even though him and his band had some goofy videos. Also back then MTV actually played music! I really miss those days!

@@vlad-im9lb Yes. He's a friend 👍 Everyone was a musician pretty much. David Lee Roth still owes me $40 for a bar tab 🤣 My nephew Gabe was in the band 3rd Strike and toured with Ozzfest. Pretty cool. Met so many people in metal band's that were cool. Boy do I have some great Ozzy stories that would crack you up (♡˙︶˙♡) All the cool people still respect and stay in touch
