+Matthew Phillips If you look at the inside of the L.E.O. it's got pretty much the same controls as the CMC-400. It's still probably right on the borderline though.

Really? Not even gonna talk about warframes??? XD that in itself is literally piloting a machine lol in an update you got to see your Tenno and customize him he'll in the ship you can walk around in your frame and even look at your Tenno aswell

+SSecularScholar i completely agree. calling terran marines space marines when we got the freaking adeptus astartes. is honestly an insult to the sky warriors of the emperor. plus MK5 heresy pattern armor is awesome. but my ffavorite will always be. MK3 iron.

@@lorddanzig1329 That is not worn, it's clearly operated. It has a cabin that the operator climbs into, standing more than 10 feet tall with limbs that are clearly far longer than the user's own. It is a mech.

Awesome list boomstick. I'm glad the crysis armor made the list I would just like to mention one that might not be very popular from the game Time Shift. Though not as powerful as most of the ones on this list it allows you to time travel and manipulate time around you.

feel adeptus astartes power armour should of got a position at least. it's badass as hell and in most lore cases is even more resilient than fallout and halo power armours.

Not even a mention for one of the first well known use of Power Armor of the warhammer, hell the star craft armor is nearly a complete rip of it. Kind of because Star craft was originally going to be warhammer but the deal was cancelled and blizzard didn't want to throw away the work they put into the game and tweaked it to remove all the warhammer stuff.

I know the list was only from video games, but I always liked the power armor from Starship Troopers the book. It had assault rifles, flame throwers, could do short flight jumps and had a nuke missile. It was really awesome.

They are the grunts of the game, Ie, the most basic unit for their faction. Space Marines are the polar opposite of that.

venomx99x No it isnt lol. It has way better ability's then Spartan armor. Plus you need to be genetically modified to use Spartan Armor, you can be a regular man to use a Nanosuit.

Azrael Akuma I don't see Excaliburs codex as necessarily to be taken literally in that regard and Second Dream might well be meant as a retcon to that information and they just haven't bothered to update that yet. I'm not saying they never were actual suits, I just don't think there's a definitive answer to that yet.

How is Mjolnir Gen 2 not number one? In heals you, increases strength, makes you run faster, and enables you to do any number of awesome feats including supermaning your way into a crowd of enemies.

+LeftwardGlobe16 Because the nano-suit doesn't even need shields to stop bullets from killing you, and the fully-upgraded power suit is _at least_ a league ahead with regards to its capabilities.

WWhiteSShadow The shields cause bullets to bounce off in most cases, and the armor itself is made from titanium, plus it's resistant to plasma bolts (to an extent, three shots can ruin the armor), increases strength and speed (50+mph, and the ability to flip tanks), AND it doesn't have a "turn to dust" button for the employer.

+LeftwardGlobe16 Yeah but Samus is still better. Chozo power armor, created by beings so advanced, they ascended into gods because their knowledge could no longer be kept in physical form. I think anything they make will beat out anything. The Chozo power suit has proven that. Boomstick is a huge crisis fan, so he made it number one even though literally everyone who has ever played Metroid knows, the power suit is the most powerful suit of armor ever created.

#1 on my top 10 List, The The Bio Booster armor Guyver, A vast array of weapons both melee and ranged, Flight, and the ability to heal the pilot even from death like complete brain destruction. Oh did I mention a chest cannon that can create a 20' deep trench that's miles long and through a mountain (and that was ep 1), it also enhances all of your senses, increases all your attributes, can tap into a well of energy reserves that can multiply your already augmented physical abilities and if for whatever reason the pilot becomes unconscious the suit goes into a self preservation mode that will not stop killing until all aggressors are destroyed.

visbaluz starcraft would be nothing without warhammer, and in a straight fight between one starcraft space marine and one adeptus astartes, the starcraft space marine would be slaughtered.

You forgot Warhammer 40k space marine power armor, which is more armored than the Mjolnir armor, more flexible than the CMC Marine suit, and just as capable for upgrades and enhancements as Mjolnir armor... depending on what the Tech Priests allow to be placed on it.. in that universe it is better to ask for permission than forgiveness lol... but i can also see why you didn't allow it on, Space marine armor is mostly just a second skin and hazard environment suit for space marines where humans look at it more like a tank. However this is based on lore, not on the games.. the games tend to cut the power of space marines back to where its actually fun and challenging to fight with or against them.

also, funny thing is that the adeptus astartes armor is only a quarter ton and allows them to survive failed orbital drops like nothing had happened... advantage over the adeptus armor for the Mjolnir is A.I. compartment, much more silent, more flexibility, and built in personal shielding... biggest issue i have with spartan armor is how can it raise strength by a factor of 5 if the power armor is not gyro'd, its hardpoints connected to a neurosuit... can someone explain a possibility to this?

Oh hey +ScrewAttack! don't forget to check out the game NELO, it's only in alpha right now BUT HOLY HELL IS THAT POWER ARMOR PRETTY DAMN AWESOME! Seriously though, for a game made by only 2 people that needed a kickstarter, that thing looks awesome as hell, although warning... it can be a bit too fast for some people that have Epilepsy I believe.

+Adil Zia 3rd, 4th and 6th places are taken by those whom it has inspired. Besides it's only the suits that have first appeared only in video games. Robotech's Elementals are also not present if you haven't noticed.

I don't know if this bursts the bubble but warframe [SPOILERS MAJOR MAJOR SPOILERS!] [Warframe's Second Dream mission] you are actually not in the suit so to say your character is in a thing which name I have forgotten that links your mind to the suit from the void originally then eventually in your ship. Your armor could be flat out destroyed but you safe.

the power armor from section 8. can survive atmospheric reentry, boosts speed to superhuman levels, and comes standard with regenerating shields, armor, and a jetpack.

*sighs* i love my warframes, but boomstick, they're not power armour.. in the newer updates it finds out you pilot them, not wear them, and as you said in the beginning, if you have to pilot it, it's out

+Ace of Jake Semantics. Anyway you don't control anything in a power suit for movement you naturally you use it like clothes. No control panel. Where a mech has a control system. Joysticks and buttons. Armor is a second skin. Mech suit isn't its like a tank. Or a plane. Not an extension of self. But a tool. Where as a suit is literally a second skin. Kinda like a gun is a tool but a katana isnt as a katana is used as a extended arm. The gun is used as the tool it is. not part of the body. The gun doesn't act as the hand, the mech suit doesn't act as skin.
