I appreciate you mentioning infinite because I feel like thirty people saw that film. It’s probably based on a comic but on film it came across as a bad imitation of the old guard. I saw it for free and still wanted my money back

Home Sweet Home Alone was absolute dumpster fire

As I've seen only 76 films this year, and these are those I find to be underwhelming and poorly made. Those which made me cringe, unintentionally laugh or get bored. As it is, I haven't seen a lot of these bad movies I see on lists. I haven't seen Sia's Music, either of Daniel Farrands' serial killer biopics, Ruby Rose's Vanquish or any Asylum film this year. Also, I found some guilty pleasure enjoyment in films like He's All That and The Kissing Booth 3. The Matrix: Resurrections was a disappointment, but not a bad film. I actually find Dear Evan Hansen to be a good movie. Unpopular opinion, I know. :) Cinderella, Space Jam 2, Monster Hunter, Misfits, and You Me Madness are in my dishonorable mentions, but I have 10 films I liked less: 10. Father Christmas Is Back - Cute, but extremely low effort from the Brits. It really feels like it was shot within a day with dialogue mostly being improvized, and plot-points rushed. It's inoffensive, but there's nothing genuinely good in it, except the wasted talent of the cast. 9. Dreamcatcher - It's such a convoluted and poorly paced horror! Some performances were actually good (Zachary Gordon, for instance), but some were not. I still have no idea why some things happened. I guess I cannot blame them for the budget, but I can for the script. 8. Deadly Illusions - Lifetime film on a bigger budget, with more sensual imagery. I mean, parts of it were enjoyable in a campy way, but it's honestly a laughably bad story. I can't even tell what the ending is supposed to tell us. 7. Demonic - What happened to Neill Blomkamp? This is genuinely a boring movie with a fairly predictable and underwhelming plot. :( 6. Great White - While on a technical level better than most other ''Shark horrors'', this was like watching the paint dry. :( 5. Home Sweet Home Alone - How to miss the point of the original in ten steps - the manual. It's just baffling, mean-spirited and sad. I think there's been enough dissecting of this film online, and deservingly so. 4. After We Fell - Even if you have the affinity towards the YA shmaltzy stuff, this will bore you to death! It's a toxic relationship between two boring protagonists, and it's not even as toxic to be entertaining on a dumb level. And the plot aimlessly drags without a central story arc. :( 3. Thunder Force - There's nothing worse than a bad comedy, because you can't even laugh at it. The main actresses are super-talented, which is why I'm so sad to say how boring, cringeworthy and amateurish this film feels. :( 2. Karen - This feels like a sketch from SNL, but without any self-awareness, and in agonizing full-lenght. Just why? :( 1. Cosmic Sin - A film so poorly made that it makes every other film on this list look like Hereditary in comparison (okay, maybe not Karen!). Low effort from Bruce Willis barely doing anything (and often having a notable body double) in a film with no interesting characters, no coherent plot, no semi-plausible effects, and nothing remotely smart or entertaining to offer. This is truly bottom of the barrel, if we don't include straight-to-DVD films like from The Asylum or Dingo pictures. No semi-mainstream movie has been this poor in a long time. :(

Sorry, you had to suffer through that. Here's my list: 10: Resident Evil: Welcome to Racoon City 9. Cruella 8. Home Sweet Home Alone 7. Space Jam: A New Legacy - AKA: Marketing Ploy the Movie. 6. Tom and Jerry 5. Separation - There's a good chance you've never heard of this movie. It's a really bad horror movie that came out earlier this year. It's honestly borderline so bad it's good. Picture Marriage Story, but Johansson's character dies 15 minutes in, and then it becomes a possession mystery/horror. Then puppets try to attack Poltergiest Style. It's stupid. 4. Reminiscence 3. Hitman's Wife's Bodyguard 2. Cinderella 1. Dear Evan Hansen - Is probably one of the most insulting adaptations I've ever seen. It's amazing how they took literally everything about this musical, and completely butchered it! Combine that with awkward dialogue, some terrible acting, and lifeless direction that has a made-for-TV quality, and you get what is hands-down my least favorite film in a long time!

The only ones here I've seen are Home Sweet Home Alone (Snooze), The Kissing Booth 3 (Snore), Music (Facepalm), and He's All That (Cringe). - That comparison of Two to The Human Centipede is GOLDEN. - Any, and I really do mean any film about a social media influencer is bound to be horrible. I've never seen a single one of these done well. - Finally, I've been waiting for Karen. The Golden Globe, Oscar, Razzie-nominated masterwork. It's time for the Austin teardown and it didn't disappoint.

I think I managed to avoid most of the stinkers this year, so the worst film I saw this year was probably the Mortal Kombat movie. I really have no connection to the games or the old movie and I just didn’t find any bit of fun at all in this one

These movies are the problem with streaming sites! So many poor original movies, they are the equivalent of straight to DVD movies from early 2000s, now we just watch them because they're on streaming sites.

I watched Cosmic Sin and was so disappointed.. The fact that it's 500 years in the future yet every set piece looks like the 90s? Seriously? The guy drove a early 2000s truck and the bar was a typical modern bar but with a robot bartender lmao. And the number of times they just said "quantum". Quantum bomb, quantum jump, quantum tech. You cannot just say "quantum" everything to sound futuristic

I watched 150 movies this year and thought I was doing something and Austin says hes watched over 300 movies lol you know when Cinderella isnt on your list you saw some shit this year lol. Half this list is Netflix movies they really are taking lifetimes spot with these movies.

Matrix 4, they had everything they needed to make a good movie, huge budget, well know source material, original cast, existing fan base, nostalgia and experienced director. That's way more than most those movies, so Karen may be worse but it had no chance to be good so what did you expect. Matrix had all chances and was awful

How can you even rember more than 300 movies (and also many series with lots of episodes)? If i see 300 movies in one year, i will totally forget ALL about 250 of them by the end of the year.

I generally only watch movies that have premises/casts/trailers that intrigue me, so I didn't watch many movies that i found truly awful this year. I think Karen is the my least favorite of the year. It’s shockingly long, horribly acted (except for Taryn Manning) the direction is confusing. I hate it.
