We have officially reached the 50's! We are almost halfway there. These golf balls may have some great features or performances, but all will at least come with a few major flaws. Let's dive in on our quest for the best golf ball ever.

Keep up the great work. Great to see reviews that actually fit the weekend golfer with 90-95 mph swing speed. Im stocked up on snell mtb prime and wilson zip. Both great value. Curious where they finish on your countdown.

I waited 7 days for a video and in 16 minutes it's all over! Lol. But I can say that, based solely on your recommendation, I did try the Diawings ball. While i did shoot my PB, I also hated the price and design, in addition, I hated the sound and feel. So i won't be getting them again, but it was a fun experiment. I also have V2 Kirklands in the bag as my par 3 over water ball. I also saw that Walmart is clearing out some golf stuff and I got some Cut DC and Taylormade soft response at 17.50 a dozen and some Cut Grey at 14.50 a dozen. But overall, my balls of choice are still alive!

I have heard people are getting amazing deals at Walmart due to clearance golf balls. I actually got some really cool advice pro drip additions for $20 a while back but I just figured it might be a fluke. However I have had multiple people comment and talk about amazing deals they are getting. At those prices, any of those golf balls are definitely worth it 😃😂

Time for a quick trip to Walmart to see what my local stores have on special, not that I don’t already have way too many golf balls of various models in my basement.

I'm a little surprised the Maxfli Tour is this low on the list. It's a popular ball with many positive consumer reviews. I was going to try them out this upcoming season but went with a couple others instead. I only buy golf balls when they're on sale, so the price wasn't really a problem for me. You're right though, they keep raising prices on their latest tour offerings. I agree with your assessment of the tour S, and it's certainly not for me either. Thanks for this countdown, I'm really enjoying it.

Thank you very much for watching and commenting. I agree I was a little surprised it was this low, I think with most people when they try the Max fly they don't see a significant difference between the original tour ball they played and now this much cheaper version. Which is why they like it. It's kind of the same thing with vice

@@GolfBallAddict Yes, and "significant" being the operative here. I'm pretty sure I could live with the Maxfli if the choice was between it and a more expensive ball.

I think some people get placebo from certain brands due to hype, name or cost. Especially if you have a great round with a certain ball and don’t lose it.

Oh that is 100% real. Almost every golfer I talk to initially plays a golf ball because of that type of feeling.

Have you heard of the Jayllah golf ball? They posted on Facebook and are available here in Thailand and are based in Qatar.

It's definitely something I want to look into. I think it falls into that category of advanced "student of the game" category. I think most golfers would have no idea one way or the other and wouldn't notice either way. However I definitely don't doubt that advanced golfers could see some benefit

Are we buying looks ( Diawing ) or are we buying performance? What if we had a list of balls that perform great, let alone the price?

That's definitely coming. Now granted I'm not buying a golf ball solely based off of its looks and price, however most golfers would be lying if they said those two things weren't a factor at all. Every time I recommend golf balls, or even if I get paired with other players while out, I always get some pretty interesting comments on the golf balls I play. The truth is a lot of golfers only want to play the big brands because that's what they know and they trust. I've had quite a few people tell me they will not try the Wilson zip because it looks cheap and it's only a dollar a golf ball. I preach it on the channel all the time, I will sacrifice two to three yards per club if a golf ball has a better value or alignment system.

I too would like to see a performance only ranking. I do care about durability because it bugs me to have a ball mark up even a little bit when I have played a clean round with no trees or cart paths or bunker shots. The score lines on my irons and wedges are not that sharp or that new. But I would like a performance only ranking without consideration for style or looks or alignment aids or cost.

My driver is 100mph and irons around 80. Will your ball reviews compliment my swing speed also

Yes they should. Most of the time if I am almost compressing a golf ball I will mention it pretty clearly in a video, which means that you'll have zero issues compressing it. But our sweets are close enough to where the majority of golf balls should fall into the same category
