Druid of Purification is so insane. It doesn't even target so those few times an artifact or enchantment has shroud/hexproof/protecrion you just don't care. And since you don't have targets you don't choose them on the stack, your opponents need to respond with it on the stack not knowing what will happen. It's great.

Druid of purification is actually super easy to deal with. You just put three players put you super far ahead but didn’t touch their creatures which are all about to be aimed at you =D

One thing to consider on Druid of purification; it is going to result in ALL the artifact and enchantment removal being pointed at you, because nobody else will have any unless they make deals. This feels like one of the cards that is so strong it can backfire and result in the "Archenemy" situation, but for enchantments / artifacts.

@@daneburke6592 Re-read my comment, champ. They will have artifact and enchantment removal of their own, but they won't have any targets because the druid will clear everyone else's out. That leaves them with only one person to point their removal at. I'm not saying it's not a good card, but sometimes playing cards that are too powerful can have an undesired effect. And yeah, if you're playing mono-green creatures, that's fine, but there are a hell of a lot of decks with green that aren't 35-40 creature decks. Even if you are a creature deck, I bet you have some nice pieces like Great Henge or shaper's sanctuary; they will most definitely be gone if your druid sticks. I like cards that are strong, but weak enough that they are not going to be "Kill it or we lose" power level.

I don’t think dictate or grave pact works with the devil guy’s reanimated creatures since he states they exile instead of dying. Card is awesome regardless though.

Robe of stars might be a good include in my arcades walls deck. He's very vulnerable and the toughness boost might push a little extra damage through if I equip something else.

Reckless endeavor was in my planar portal deck, and I rolled a 7 and a 10. Felt good to wipe the board and get 10 treasures for doing it.

FYI the Lorcan / Dictate of Erebos dream doesn't really work since your warlocks don't die they exile instead. But if you have your own sac fodder still good

So glad i preordered 8 druid of purificatons for a dollar a piece on cardkingdom the day it was revealed! Went up to 4 dollars a piece a few days later. Got 8 klauth's wills for 50 cents a piece as well!

I know it was on the list but I still think you find some prisoners is undervalued. The second half can also be used to make someone whiff a tutor or mess up any top deck manipulation an opponent might be setting up, while also have the possibility of extra value for you.

Guardian of Faith is really funny in the cyclonic rift thing where you let the Guardian faith go back to your hand while phasing the rest of your board. Let you double up on protection. Seems really fun.

No mention for Phantom Steed? Seems like the perfect card for a blink deck. Get something EoT, untap and attack to retrigger the ETB, and when they kill it you get the original ETB agáín.

I just bought one for my Yarok deck (with Yarok you can even exile two creatures and create tokens of BOTH on each attack), I think it's an underrated gem.

What's your guys thoughts on grim hireling? It would be on my top 15 for sure. Can make up to 6 treasures a turn and can be used for emergency creature removal! It is also a rogue which is relevant creature type.

I like the Druid, but I quite prefer growing rites. It replaces itself, it has a better colour casting cost (so it goes it more decks) and it only flips once it’s actually going to matter. And then it’s harder to remove once it flips. They both do have different applications though, hard to tell what’s better. You can tutor Druid way easier though, so I’m really not sure what’s better.

I have a Mazirek deck and I'm putting old gnawbone in there, because in that deck it reads "whenever you deal combat damage, put that many +1/+1 counters on EACH of your creatures. Oh and also make some mana"

11:34 if you where going to spend the mana on your turn to phase it what is the problem with holding it up? If you use it on your turn they can just respond and kill your creature….

HELP WANTED: Hey community, I have a dilemma, and I need advice - I want to purchase one of the forgotten realms box sets, but I'm not sure if I should get a set booster box, a collector box, or a draft booster box; or, if I should just buy singles, get exactly what I want, and not get a bunch of trash cards. Should I go prerelease, or wait and hope prices drop? I'm not even sure what the going prices of those booster boxes should be - I see wildly fluctuating prices online. Any past experience as to which is "better" or more cost efficient? Or what the rates are/should be? Really, any constructive advice at all works. Thank you!

If the draft and set boosters are similar prices, you get WAY more rares and usable cards from the set booster. Standard rares and such usually settle immediately though, so if you only need 10-20 cards you can probably just wait until the set drops and pick them up for really cheap

You missed a trick on Druid of Purification - you don't choose the best permanent yourself. This is the Council's Judgment dilemma, where voting for the strongest permanent will likely see you exile just one thing. So, depending on positions at the table and what kind of threats are out there, you vote for the 2nd or 3rd strongest artifact/enchantment - that means there are 2 other players who will think "Oh my god, he didn't destroy the X", and they'll not really have any other option than to do so. Also, like Council's Judgment, this goes through hexproof/shroud/protection!

I don’t thin Druid of putrification is number one because your opponents can choose whether they they want to destroy a something or not but it will get things because if there are cards that they wanna get rid of then it’s good

Oh my what a suprise, the best card is green.... I played against it once and ofcourse is was a simic tempo deck who was running away with it. So a deals was made within seconds to not destroy anything else because it became a sort of archenemy.

Lorcan can steal your opponent's creatures but their deaths won't subsequently trigger Dictate of Erebos effects because of his second ability, which exiles them instead of sending them to the yard. Still a good card

After the first emblem's trigger resolves, the remaining emblems will see that they lost 8 life that turn and not add more.
