Any song by, Tony! Toni! Toné! Or Arrested Development. Both were huge and had a few hits but didn’t move into the 2000s. Oh also ace of base. They had some jams.

And I had a huge awesome boom box CD player with double cassettes and a record player on top.. the speakers were amazing and I could hear so much detail.. now a days I only know how to listen to music on my phone and there’s no comparison .and I miss listening to actual albums not just jumping around songs

I agree. I miss the 90s and early 2000s (those were my teen years, so they have nostalgic value for me). But I think everyone feels the same way about the era they grew up in lol.

My fav forgotten song from then is Steal my sunshine by LEN. I just heard it the first time since 1999 and was blown away by the instant unlocking of memories. And it’s still a great song

My local radio stations play it a lot during the late spring and summer, and have since its release. Hearing it on the radio for the first time each year always makes me feel like winter is finally over. I freaking love it.

Great list! Fastball was so underrated, “You’re an Ocean” and “Outta My Head” are also great songs. They’re still making music and have an album due out fairly soon. I recall Robyn’s song “Show Me Love” better than the one in this list.

Ready to Go by Republica is just one of those songs that feels like the musical equivalent of an energy drink. The Way by Fastball is a great song but if you haven't given the whole album, All the Pain Money Can Buy, a listen, you should.

Here it is 2024 and I've never heard that Fastball song, The Way. If I've heard it, it didn't make an impact. However, Candlebox did with Far Behind... a huge impact.

I truly despise "Two Princes". It was so overplayed on the radio. You'd hear it every freaking time you turned on the radio or went into a store or stopped at a gas station. You couldn't get away from that song. It was always on MTV too so that didn't help either. It was one of those songs that you didn't like but it was used in every commercial too. It would get stuck in your head for days. Ahhhhh...I still hate it.

A few of these songs I’ve never heard but most I still have MP3s of. I hate the spin doctors. They had a few catchy songs but I went to see them live, screaming trees and souls asylum opened. They all played and it was cool. Then the SD’s came out. Sang 3 songs no one knew and walked off stage. So we all assumed the show was over, we left. Once the majority of people were outside they went back and played their hits. F the spin doctors. It was so rude!
