House of stark could show Ned growing up with his sister, seeing the death of his father and brother by the mad king, his friendship with Robert and showing what it was like on their side during the rebellion House of targarean with Rhager and his dragons and the mad kings descent into madness and his death by Jamie Lannister, rhagers relationship with lyana and the deaths of his Dornish wife and his death , deanarys and viserys being smuggled away to safety and again showing what it was like on their side during the rebellion House of Tully that could show Caitlin growing up with littlefinger and meating ned and showing what it was like on their side during the rebellion House of Baratheon seeing Robert, Stannis and renly growing up and Robert falling in love with lyana, his friendship with Ned, lyanas death and showing what it was like on their side during the rebellion. A spin-off about aegon the conqueror taking kings landing with his dragons and establishing the targarean dynasty. I will never forgive the writers for what they did to Jamie and his Lady Knight. Jamie had grown so much as a character. He had outgrown his feelings for Cersei. Arya killing the Night King was an insult to fans and proof Dan and Dave were hacks. Rarely was I on Cersei's side, but what she did to Ellaria and her daughter was justice. I can disagree with that sentiment towards Arya. If you go back a few seasons earlier when she first encountered the Red Women. The Red Women prophesied that she would close 3 eyes forever, one of them being blue. This was a very good foreshadowing, and the fact that she used the dagger that was meant to kill her brother was quite fitting. Now, albeit, the last few seasons felt rushed, and was missing depth such as the first few seasons... But that's what happens when you lack creativity. Look at the murderous job that Amazon did with Tolkien's works with over a $1 billion budget with the Rings of Power, it's definitely not Tolkien... When they were writing the shows based off of the Books from Martin, they started off doing a very good job. When they ran out of source material to work with you can begin to tell that the creativity of Martin's writing was no longer there... So I can see where you are coming from in regards to that...

That’s why you need to read the books too. No way Jaime was going to stay with Brienne and abandon Cersei. And I’m positive Arya was always slated to kill the Night King. Another heavily foreshadowed moment, both in the show and the books. For one final reminder, I’ll throw in a quote from Ramsay: “If you think this has a happy ending, you haven’t been paying attention.”

While I can’t truly speak for the writers of the show, I’d say that the change speaks more about the limitations that women suffered from during similar time periods. In the books, Daenerys is 13 and Drogo is around 30 so saying it was consenual is questionable in this day and age. Making it a rape makes viewers feel uncomfortable and angry to make sure we keep it unacceptable in modern society.

Many of these were deeply disturbing, but there is one moment on this list that I have no problem with. Cersei's walk of shame is EXACTLY what she deserved. Just like Tyrion said, her one redeeming quality is that she loves her children (and her cheekbones). Once they were dead, she became even more of a monster than she already was. Up until HotD, she was the character I hated the most, but then I was introduced to Ser "Crispin" Cole and Aegon the R*pist.

The point of the walk was Cerise was not shamed but was frightened, angered and dedicated to paying the church back for the insult. The acting was superb. The nudity was not erotic at all.

16:57 Daenerys burning King’s Landing is actually number one for me. Burning millions of innocent people in a fit of rage completely crossed the line for me and made me “rage-quit” on her being one of my favorite characters! I can sympathize with her losing everything, but that’s still no excuse for what she did! And seeing my all time favorite female character Arya being the ONLY survivor of the carnage after she tried to save people’s lives regardless of what side they were on, because it was the right thing to do, was the “final nail in the coffin.” Every time I see those scenes I’m so seething mad I have to have something in my hands or else my fingernails dig so deep into my skin they draw blood NO LIE!!!

@@haselbasil2488 I used to feel the same way, that Dany's arc made no sense, but then I went back and watched the series from the beginning. There have been very subtle hints, even as early as the pilot episode, that Dany would go mad. They're hard to spot, but they're there. Season 8 was handled poorly, her descent into madness happened way too fast, but her becoming the Mad Queen was always the ending planned for her. Had they stretched it out over a few more seasons, made her descent more gradual, it would've been much easier to swallow. But they crammed too much into too few episodes, so it felt very forced.

Top 3 (In my opinion): 1. What happens to Sansa on her wedding night 2. Jaime's actions towards Cersei following Joffrey's death 3. The fate of Shireen Baratheon When you guys explained the behind the scenes of Sansa's torture, I was also like "WHAT!?!". I almost felt like Jaime's actions would've been number 1 even if it was in the story that scene happened, but apparently the Sansa scene story says it all. I also felt like Shireen's fate was worse than the burning King's Landing because we happened to get in touch and know more about Shireen which makes her death so brutal and hard to watch.

Sansa's wedding night was definitely horrifying, but it did not go too far. There is almost no nudity and no onscreen violence at all. We understand what is happening, but it would be completely out of character for Ramsey to do a Khal Drogo and suddenly turn in to a kind and caring husband. Of course, it's sickening and infuriating what happens, but anything else would be out of place with a monster like Ramsey. Given how unsettling the idea of Sansa being r*ped by Ramsey is, it was very tastefully shot, leaving almost all to our imagination. Finally, credit must be given to Alfie Allen for his acting. The look on his face as he watches is what truly drives the scene home.

Dany should've been #1. Her killing innocent men, women, and children after she goes completely insane is incredibly horrific. #2 should be Shireen. Sansa's experience, though incredibly traumatic, made her stronger and she is no longer a little bird. Her statement is truthful and many women who have survived abuse/SA/DV would agree. You have to be strong in order to survive. Sansa survived which was the whole point to her statement.

Okay so number one isn't 100% accurate. It's true that Ramsay doesn't marry Sansa in the books, but he does marry her best friend, Jeyne Poole, who is disguised by the Lannisters and Littlefinger as Arya Stark. Theon is a part of it, and is forced to... prepare her sexually... before Ramsay SAs her. He has to do more in the books than just watch like he does in the show. The options they had were to use Sansa's character, which already had assumed a fair number of Jeyne's characteristics from the books, or write another character into multiple episodes across multiple seasons. The Lannisters needed a Stark marriage to cement Bolton control over the North, which is a fairly important plot point in the show. Theon grew up with both Sansa and Jeyne. It would have been equally cruel to have him there with either one. The only difference for us as viewers, is whether it's to a character we know and love, or one that would have been written in solely for that purpose. Either way, it still wasn't as awful as what was done to Shireen, imo.
