I just can’t imagine how absolutely insane it is to be trapped with a giant rock on your arm and then having you to cut it off if you want to live and escape. That’s so scary and insane at the same time, the amount of emotions he must’ve had.

I'm STOKED that you included Cool Runnings that was my JAM in the winters of my childhood before we went sledding. We were the Jamaican bobsled team! However, Im shocked you didn't include American Gangster! It has such an amazing character arch AND is based on true events. Please remember it next time. 💕

absolute crime that "thirteen lives" was not included in this list if not at number one. it took me hours to digest the events of that movie actually happened in full. amazing watch 100% recommend to anyone interested in this kind of stuff and SHOULD BE ON THIS LIST!

"Capote" is one of those films that I always forget about. It's brilliant! I'd never read "In Cold Blood" and I read it several times after watching the film. I was obsessed with the story and the way it was told. Hoffman definitely deserved his Oscar for that. He was one of Hollywood's greatest losses.

I really enjoyed Capote. I grew up not knowing much about the author, except the copy of In Cold Blood my mom had (I have it now). The story of the Clutters hit close to home for my mom's family, being that she grew up in the next town to the west of Holcomb, and the murder happened the year she graduated from high school.

Heat should be on here. The diner scene actually happened with the cop hunting the real McCauley, Charles Adamson. Few other scenes were taken from actual events and crimes he dealt with.

What about The 15 :17 To Paris? It's about a terrorist attack on a train that was stopped by 3 young American men, Anthony Sadler, Alek Skarlatos, and Spencer Stone. The movie showed the exact time when they stopped the terrorist and helped save people.

I don't think I, Tonya definitively put Harding in a sympathetic light. I mean, I thought the film was clearly framing of her story from the POVs of multiple unreliable narrators, reflecting how the whole world views her story; through their own biases.

I never knew Remember the Titans, Pursuit of Happiness, Cool Runnings were actually True Stories I'm sooooo late. 127hrs, Sully & Straight Outta Compton were such dramatic action movies..!! Watching 127hrs I was like " Wtw is this guy gonna do. " I was actually worried & curious. But alot of True Story movies always leave something out.

"The Revenant" is the most unrealistic movie for the last 75 years. Its a offense to the Intelegence of a movie fan. The Bear Attack,the 40 meters high jump,then was able to travel on foot more than 200 miles in that freezing Weather,and again survived,etc,etc,and he survives to all of that Onslaught only with a couple of scratch on his back...Simple Astonishing. And won 3 Oscars...uauu. how Hollywood and the academy are corrupted to the Core. And how Stupid "we" are for paying to see such an Unbelivable movie.

I’m thankful they showed just how graphic and painful having to cut his arm off with a dull pocket knife no less in 127 hours was. Doesn’t change that even as a man who doesn’t shy away from gory stuff I still was squirming in my seat watching it 😫
