If you have the start speed set to zero it wont go anywhere if you accidentally hit the throttle because it requires you to press the brake each time you come to a stop to reengage the throttle.

What about acceleration for S+ mode? I saw you had it at "Max" but can you talk a little bit about why, and does it affect acceleration in Eco or Drive modes too?

Hello can i limit the top speed on 25 km/hour in sport mode ? I live in europe and want to buy a global edition that reaches 35 km/ hour but on public roads i could limit the scooter with the app to the legal speed of 25 km/hour?

Hello! You can :). The app lets you customize sport mode max speed from 14.5 kmh to 35 kmh.

Could you please tell me why the light effect and cruise mode options are not visible in the app even though it's the same scooter ( Segway ninebot max g2 ) , please I really make concerns about that could you help me !!!!

Segway has regional restrictions based on local laws. Apparently cruise control on a scooter isn’t legal in many European countries so Segway blocks it in those countries. In the US, cruise control is allowed so I have it in the app. I’m sure the same is true with the light effect. Hopefully one day both EU and US pass common sense scooter laws. Restricting scooter speed to 20 or 25 km/h is seriously ridiculous. Speed isn’t restricted for cars, but these regulators think scooters are so dangerous that they need to be speed limited. Doesn’t make sense.

I neeed help i mistakenly locked my ninebot scooter and I don’t know how to unlock it because the Bluetooth is disconnected before I can reconnect I have to unlock the scooter and I don’t know how to unlock it without the app

I believe the EU is restricted to 25km/h unfortunately.

Congrats! When it’s charging you’ll see the taillight pulsating. It will remain on while it charges and turns off by itself when done. Unplug it when it’s done though.

Is your bluetooth also glitched and only works if location is toggled on?

@@africansavagekd1 hmm, haven't run into that issue. I usually keep location set to "while using" on my iPhone. Are you saying that if you turn location services off, you have issues with the app and/or connecting to the scooter?

The settings of each scooter are different, so all of the options you are seeing are only on the max g2

@@allo. I don't know which country you live in, but in EU countries it doesn't exist because of restrictions. Maybe you bought a model with a different controller, but EU models certainly don't have it.

This was either 6.0.4 and 6.0.5 (current is 6.0.6). One notable difference is that regen medium mode has been removed since the 1.4.8 firmware update as well as the addition of the option to disable regen brake.

@@tomsgadgetgarage the Find My scooter feature. I don't know why they would even market the apple feature on the box when there are so many dedicated android users, shame on Segway for that.

does android have an analog to find my? The find my specifically pings off other iphones, it’s not like it’s a GPS tracker that they are specifically restricting from android users
