I like the metal hoses. Mine has survived the gardener, kids, a puppy and california sun. 6 years strong and still no leaks or kinks.

It certainly wasn't my Grandma's hose, as well, I'm 63. This is new to me really. I've burst several of your "Grandma's hoses" by being out in the sun. After 5 we stopped buying them. I like the idea of the shower-like one, as it won't melt in the sun.

@@Mechanicallyincleyend I put a quick-connect onto mine and it is super easy to grab from the garage, quick connect, water my flowers, quick disconnect, drain, throw back in the garage. I dont even coil it. I just let the water all out and toss it in a bucket. It is a game changer for people who just need to water some pots.
