Randy I've listened to most if not all of your tutorials and KZfaq videos about Rockabilly, Scotty Moore, Johnny Cash and Luther Perkins and this one about Cliff, his style and famous sound and licks! Always absolutely spot on! Thanks for your contribution to these famous names!

Happy New Year Randy! I have a request for a Rockabilly Special! I think it would have been cool if you did a Johnny Burnette, Paul Burlison/Grady Martin Special. Grady Martin and Paul Burlison had some amazing soloes and licks, and i think people would have liked it! (BTW! Thank you for liking my Scotty Moore video on Facebook) Cheers!🇧🇻
@mesolithicman1643 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately Paul Burlison was a terrible guitar player. Grady Martin played all his stuff.

Good lesson,-But,-first solo in 'Hold me Hug me Rock me,' Cliff is pulling off on the F sharp[first string-2nd fret] & C sharp[second string-2nd fret] Its not the same as 'Cruising' solos.

Hello Ritchie, thank you I just love your video. However why don’t you put the tabs with your explanation ? English is not my first Language (we have something in common ! lol !) and that would be more simple to figure out. It’s just a suggestion. Take Care ! Kareen

Gene Vincent was a Rock n roll singer NOT Rockabilly....please tell me who were Rock n Roll singers because you lot class everybody as Rockibillys
@ducktailcat3 жыл бұрын
Hi Dean, was the question directed at me? I've never said Gene Vincent was a rockabilly singer. In fact in the video I say the records offer a great variety ranging from rockabilly to even jazz standards.
