Top 5 Foods to Increase Focus & Boost Mood - Thomas DeLauer… There are foods that can improve focus and then are true ways to sort of hack your system into getting better focus the right way. You see, everywhere you turn, when you're watching videos on KZfaq or on the internet, you're hearing about weird kind of random ways to boost your mood or boost focus through little pieces of blueberries or little pieces of different foods that you're going to extract a particular component of.
That's not what I want to talk about in this video. In this video, I want to talk about true proven scientific ways that you can achieve some more focus. Ways that you can get that extra boost that you need to get through that study session, get through that work day, or to truly be the best version of yourself.
If you haven't already, make sure you hit that subscribe button. Posting three to five videos per week, giving you health, nutrition, workout, whatever you name it advice. If you're already a subscriber, make sure you hit that little bell so you can turn on notifications to know whenever I post a new video so you're the first to see it.
All right, so let's get right to the good stuff. The first one I want to talk about is utilizing caffeine and theacrine as a combo. You see, when you utilize caffeine and theacrine as a combo, you have some interesting things happen. This is not any kind of plug. Caffeine, you can get on Amazon, theacrine you can get on Amazon. It's nothing crazy at all.
You see, first off, let's talk about how caffeine works when it comes down to actually improving focus in the short term and in the long term. See, a lot of you know by now that caffeine occupies what's called an adenosine receptor. When caffeine occupies an adenosine receptor, it's basically blocking fatigue from ever hitting that receptor. So caffeine sits in that receptor and eventually wears off and the fatigue hits. That's why you crash, but caffeine does do some interesting things while you're on that caffeine high so to speak.

My husband and I love your videos! Would you please consider doing a clip on foods, supplements, beverages, vitamins, minerals ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING that would help the body respond better to heat. I understand the basics, plenty of water, electrolytes, get to shade when possible etc etc... I live in South Florida (if it werent for our jobs we wouldn't lol) and I don't process heat as well as some other people I know. The need to stay indoors during most of day light hours has an impact on my excercise and social habits, and makes me feel guilty that my husband is out doing yardwork alone (I actually enjoy yardwork lol). Hey Thomas, I'm 17 years old and I used to have problems with belly size. So around early January I decided to try intermittent fasting, which showed huge results after a month or so down the line. I tried to show other kids this diet but they and their parents deemed it unhealthy. Please could you make a video on it's advantage on the youth and teens?

Jeremy, they are just making excuses. The truth is they do not have your drive, goals and determination. Most people would rather die, literally die, than give up their junk food or booze or cigarettes, plus their average 3 hours of television a day, than give up the junk food, go to a health food store, and shop around for an affordable gym membership. Think of all the * REALLY * fat people you see. By the time a person gets 30, 40 pounds overweight, he or she should be saying - I'm going to do something about this, but most of them just don't care enough to take action and change their habits.

#1 is sugggggggarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! depending on your body, you shouldnt ingest more than 10-20 grams of sugar a day, unless you're a professional athlete. Also, you might have food intolerances, or just not the capacity to process certain foods; for example if i eat wheat i break out on my neck, i discovered this, although my doctor says there is not "recordable allergic reaction." trust your body. cut sugars, tons of water, and perhaps other stuff as well...record what you eat and how it affects you

Question...what are your thoughts on the presence of PUFAs in Nuts and Seeds? I have heard that too much PUFAs raise SHBG and for those who care about testosterone it may be an issue. Some advise against consuming certain Nuts/Seeds for that reason. I am aware of omega 3/6 ratio, but I would love it if you shed more light into that mechanism of SHBG. Thank you for the great content.

I really like the information here, as always with your videos. It does, however, point to something I'd like to see in your future content. I notice the products you advocate tend to be priced for those on a much less limited budget than the average person trying or sustaining a keto/fasting lifestyle. Yes, I realize this video specifically is not a keto-focused video, but I do think this is information that is useful for someone in ketosis. I would like to see some content focused on getting the best for your money on keto. Perhaps some tips for those starting out that are discouraged by the thought that they need to spend their entire paycheck to get the important benefits of keto. Personally, I am celebrating one year since taking the plunge into ketosis as a lifestyle. Your videos have been a wonderful source of information and inspiration, but I find that I've often had to struggle with balancing the information on how to get the most optimal results, with a sense of practicality, as I am technically right at the edge of poverty. If I were able myself, I would be doing a video on this...however I lack the equipment at this time. Just thought I'd give some feedback. And I want to let you know I deeply appreciate what you're doing. If you have a video that already covers this subject, please do share to a link! Keep up the awesome!

What do you think of 5- htp? I bought some and started taking it once a day. I noticed a big difference in my overall mood. I also have been taking fish oil, and turmeric every day for a year now. I have noticed a big difference in my moods and focus. I ran out of the 5-htp not to long ago. And I'm finding it's harder to stay on the positive and focus as easy as it was when I was on it. Again what is your take on 5-htp

Do you take these all at the same time? What is the best combination and best time to take these supplements?

I would also recommend a hormone called PREGNENOLONE. It helps a lot with memory and also has anti aging benefits.

I have been wanting to try their mushroom coffee for a long time, but I am only concerned about the sweetener in it. I will definitely buy the non sweetened coffee but I don’t think they have it.

Hello Thomas, I been doing Keto for a month + and i have been feeling really fatigued; I have been drinking plenty of water (bought magnesium citrate pills, and salting my food); but i am wondering what can be causing me such fatigue other than dehydration.

saveAsu Salt and/or potassium. I had the same problem so I bought empty gelatin tablets and I fill them with Himalayan salt and potassium that I bought from Amazon. Problem fixed. I just take 3 to 4 salt pills throughout the day and probably 4 potassium pills.

Lol perfect, God Bless ya brotha! You look good up there with that buzz cut too btw. I miss wearing it high & tight ;) long haired hippie children who stepped out of line got their heads used like a pingpong ball in my house growing up. You should've seen the look on his face after I buzzed it & he went to grab for the hair out of habit & his fingers slipped off. Lol I started laughing, that wasn't too smart. He chuckled for a second, & gave me worse. He's the best tho, he scared TF out of weird people! Kept me real safe!
