TheGarageBandGuide I was a GB on mac user before I owned a phone; you were instrumental in me learning the software. If I can ever get on the thing between the wife and two kids, I might use it again one day.

Thanks Patrick. Is there any way to output a guitar recording as guitar TAB from Garage Band? Seems a short step from converting it to musical notation to TAB? Thanks again for all your great work from Down Under.

When creating all of the individual sample drum tracks from the main drum track (as you showed in the video), I keep the original created track with all the drums and use that to added reverb, delay or ambient effects with high-pass filter eq to enhance the drums. This acts somewhat as a drum bus so I don't have to add effects to each and every track. I will still eq the individual tracks for best sound mix.

Hi, Loved the sampler on your video. Any idea why I don't see the Legacy sounds in my Sound Library? I tried reinstalling all the sounds and I still don't see the Legacy sounds. I'm wanting to get the applause and laugh tracks:)

How do I make a voice sound deeper but still natural with grain in the tone? I would like to recite poems and I want to make my sound slightly deeper. How can do that without adding any extra artificial effects? When I try adjusting pitch it makes it sound somewhat robotic, adding a tube-sounding effect. I am using GarageBand 10.3.5. Any help from any of you will be appreciated. Please.

Hi Patrick. Great tutorial. Question: I have a bass guitar, and although I can use other sounds from the library that include Clean, Crunch and Experimental bass, how can I get that upright acoustic sound/double bass sound on my bass guitar? I can only find it within the piano sounds (legacy). Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Akin Aworan thanks for watching man. That upright bass sound your after is a software instrument sound, there unfortunately isn’t any way to make you electric bass sound the same by adding amp sims or effects.

Sir you explain things pretty well But your neglecting your visuals You say click here wher? We can't see where. we are not always on a computer so on a phone we can't see too good you have to kinda zoom in and show us where here is. Please and thank you for your time
