Just a note that Reverend Jaganath Carrera is NOT a protestant clergyman, he's a student of Swami Satchidananda. Inside the Yoga Sutras is one of my favorite commentaries.

I recommend the book The Secret Power of Yoga however, I do not recommend getting it as an Audible book. The narration voice is very monotone and you can tell she's reading. This was not a good book to listen to while I was driving! I got the book and it's soooo much more enjoyable!.

I have downloaded for free the book of Osho "The Yoga Book: Beyond Space, Time and Desire" in Russian. It is said in the preface that "It is parts 6-10 of " Yoga The Science Of The Soul" . After that outstanding book you can just throw and forget all other books about yoga.

I am happy that you said "Yoga is not just about physical asanas" but if Yoga is an ocean then all Physical asanas are just one drop....... . These books are not giving full Idea about Yoga. The writers are creating their own assumptions.

I am Indian . These books are freaking me. Yoga is not that. I don't know what to say.......... And first of all untill you can't experience somebody's phone is virbrating in the middle of a crowded market without being near to that guy you are not YOGI...... 🙏
