I came across this 2024 movie from a random tweet I saw. It's called "Manjummel Boys" it's a Malayalam film (language spoken in South India, not Bollywood, I never heard of it before) and I'm not kidding, it's incredible. In my top 3 this year so far. You gotta check it out, go in blind if you can it's based off a true story. Guarantee it'll end up being one of the best films of the year, more people in the West gotta see it I think i'm one of the few

True Detective Night Country - Tried watching episode 1. I gave up. Nearly everyone has issues. Both main characters have issues from the past. The lady who gets into the accident has a drinking problem. The lady who finds the bodies has a past. Other police characters have issues with the son (and his wife) and father. At the end of the day I want a story where I am following one or few characters and how they work out their issues. Not look at everyone trying to solve their problem.

When I heard Ruben is unwell I thought he is celebrity kind of unwell, like allergic reaction to peanut butter or something but pneumonia and asthma ? Really feel for you Ruben, I suffered from respiratory issues from age 2 to 6.5 and it was so horrible I don’t wish it even for my enemies.

Might want to explore films outside of Hollywood: UK, Ireland, New Zealand, Australia, Canada (all English speaking so you zenophobes can't throw a sh*t fit about having to read subtitles). Also, check out South Korea ("I hate subtitles!" grow up!). Enjoy your Hungry Man frozen dinner.
