just got my self a 95 ls400 a few months back and although I agree the 20 series body is so much sleeker there is something about the slight box-ness the 95 has that just made me keep her!!

The only good option I can find here is the w220 base (I live in Cologne, Germany) they go for up to 5k euros. The thing is I'm very into jdm cars as well as vip cars, and I'm planning to buy my first car. So Im not sure if I should be looking at these cars and sobering over them. Or do u think these are solid beginner cars? Im definitely a big tuning fan which is why I always want to swerve towards a tuner car for my first car. Any thoughts on that? Great video, guys. And kudos for throwing in the W220 platform in there. It's been slept on by the VIP community here in the US, and it's a shame! (or could it be because it's still relatively expensive to keep on the road compared to more traditional platforms from Lexus and Infiniti? Yes, probably LOL). On the other hand, the purchase prices you mentioned for all these platforms are nowhere near realistic. For beaters on their last leg, maybe, but for clean, unmolested specimens with all or most gadgets running, no way: you're going to have to pay up. Please don't give people false expectations.

Y32 y33 has interchangeable arms with s13/s14 I believe. Also y33 q45 are much easier to find than a g50 q45 Edit: the e38 7 series is actually getting pretty high priced for a clean one so hop on em fast. And the rl is actually a dope option especially on bags

RWD for VIP platform, also y34 front interchangeable with s14/s13 depending on what your doing and rear is 350z interchangeable.

I got my 97 Q45 for 1100. Yes the hard high pressure lines on the steering rack does rust out.and then there's those pesky knock sensors ! If your over 6ft it's not a car for you.however with a lil modding the 89 through 94 Maxima seats do fit which creates more leg room up front.. but NOBODY can sit behind you

Gs400 is the better pick, the 2jz ge vvti is just not the move. Unless you have the money to burn to add the power immediately, just get a 400 it'll be more fun, its already making the same power as a factory 2jzgte, and you can still add forced induction to a 1UZ. They were literally designed to be boosted from the factory in airplane engines and all came with hypereutectic pistons. I'd argue they're even cheaper to build compared to the 2jz ge as they make adapter plates for eaton superchargers on the 1uz platform, and the eaton/svt units you can find+ the adapter are MUCH cheaper than the manifolds, turbos, piping, etc needed for a reliable 2j where you're essentially stuck with turbos due to low end torque limitations for power. You can even go nitrous on the UZ blocks and handle it pretty well. Yes both are limited by rods, but both can be swapped for earlier generation rods/nonvvti that can handle 1000 hp figures, despite both needing to handicap low end for safety. Plus the UZ just sounds better.
