I ain’t gonna lie this is a pretty good list if it wasn’t for hip hop as a whole. Like out of the sorta nostalgia for boom bap or the jazz rappers it’s fire. Fr I fw people like black thought heavy, (in my opinion just based of raw skill not acclaim he is the best technical rapper) or billy woods realeased some of my favorite hip hop of all time. But I fr believe that Andre 3000 quote about 40 year rappers holding the new generation back. Alchemist or mad lib are fr legends. Like especially nas he been doing the same thing forever. Jazz rap is high key getting boring Mckinley Dixon and Mike fr the only ones doing intresting things and really pushing the envelope. (Billy woods and backwoods studios a goat though and I glaze him constantly, but he is in his own lane) Especially nas, boldy James, czarface, navy blue, blu, Larry June, Mach homey, mick Jenkins, Larry June and open mike eagle, y’all gotta retire and step aside for the new rappers. Also I am so sick of (most of) Griselda, Benny the butcher is just not hungry anymore and after god don’t make mistakes Conway doesn’t seem like he has anything to say. Also westside Gunn a goat and is in my opinion the best Griselda member but he still intresting but at least he is self aware enough to know when to hang up the cape. Rome streetz is really the only one still hungry with something to prove. Low key hip hop is dying because of legends who don’t know when to throw the towel. Mad props to Andre 3000 and westside though. As Andre said that he doesn’t wanna infiltrate it with old blood. So many people are doing dope stuff outside of just the hip hop u talking bout or who you mention: Lancey foux is doing crazy stuff in Great Britain. Veeze released the most Detroit/michigan album since mob and babyface had a banger too. Key glock realeased the best southern record since big krits 4eva is a mighty long time Babytron doing some wack stuff but it sounds great Teezo touchdown is gonna be so good in a few years he is hit or miss Duwap kaine has at least one banger project every year he is gonna be as notorious as black kray one day Group therapy is gonna be the next brockhampton ( I will give u props for slowthai and Paris Texas)
