Villager/pillager castles 👀 Some spawn as “high level” villager towns with a king that can give random quests (Hunt 10 skeletons, receive 3 emeralds or RARE enchantments etc) Or pillager castles. That work more like a fort, and are tremendously tough to raid. One awesome feature I’d love to see is a trebuchet in each castle with a variety of weapons you could launch from it

I'd love to have more features with the "snowier snow" type of description. Junglier jungles, creepier creepers, etc

Well this just gave me an idea, and I have many of them but I’ll keep this to two I like. First off, use the MC Earth skins of various mobs like pigs, as biome variants, as well as make each type be a bit unique. So maybe having woolier sheep in the cold biomes drop more wool, having cows that drop more meat, etc. My second idea is to make frogs a pest control mob. And I’m hoping this will happen since it seems like it’s already heading that direction. So maybe they deal with smaller mobs such as cave spiders and silverfish along with the tiny slimes and fireflies? It could be useful for someone such as myself who likes building in mountains where silverfish can spawn, and also be great for helping out in abandoned mineshafts.

A way to fix spawning in the mushroom biome: add an underground glowing mushroom biome. Caverns filled with funguses climbing on the rocks and sprouting from beneath, providing a nice glow, with no hostile mobs.

I would love an Alchemy update focusing on Potions, Enchanting, and perhaps the Witch. Perhaps you would be able to make a glowing potion by using glow berries or glow ink.

More structures are a great idea. I'd like a few that don't offer any challenge, they're just there, but still useful. Like a house that looks like someone's 2012 Minecraft house, either overgrown/broken down, or pristine. Really only for asthesics or a leg-up for someone's new world.

Because MC Earth was mentioned, after horses and cats got them (kinda) I honestly don't see why not all standard animals get breeds. At least cows, pigs, sheep and chickens (mostly reskins) as well as dogs (different models, maybe based on the top 10 most popular breeds in the real world).

Features I want : • Villager Quest Giver: in order to get this villager you have to craft his table ( 3 planks, cartography table, and 5 books ) this villager would give you simple quest for example "Kill 5 zombies for 3 emeralds" and the more quest you do the harder the quest and double rewards from killing 5 zombies it would be "kill 20 zombies." • Legendary Mode for survival or an update for hard mode difficulty where hostile mobs have a random chance at spawning in with a potion effect *( zombie with strength or a Skeleton that has a poison effect where if it shoots a player that player would be poison )* and mobs have a higher chance at spawning with armor. • Allow to transfer items out of Cache Data to Recourse & Behavior pack so Console players who do Lan crossplay can get their resourse packs. • crossplay skin where my windows 10 skins appear in my Playstation skins • DYNAMIC LIGHTING ITS POSSIBLE ON CONSOLES AND OTHER PLATFORMS. • Simple Structures & Dungeons not massive dungeons but those ruin towers with 4 hallways and some rooms. I have more ideas but don't feel like saying them.

They should add glass doors, or at the very least make doors work with glass panes. And concrete stairs and slabs should definitly be a thing!

With The "This feels like a Mod" I only would get that way if Minecraft made unbalanced or awkwardly made features, like the infamous Emerald Armour & Tools idea always are severely overpowered and doesn't make much sense with the fact that Emeralds are too easy to get. If Mojang made Emerald Armour I couldn't look at it and see it as legit since it isn't hard to get. It'd have to be worse than Gold for balancing reasons and then it's just redundant.

I feel like we need an entire update dedicated just to community suggestions and parity changes.

I'd honestly love to see like a mechanic where you can find wild nomad villagers like you find wandering merchants or pillager patrols. Nomads when given emeralds instantly become regular old villagers and this could be a way for players to settle and make new villages. Here are some other updates I'd like to see. . Allow spiders to crawl up vertical surfaces and underneath under hangs like in all the promotional art for Minecraft. Skeleton Jockeys animations will tilt with the angle of the spider depending on where its crawling. . Baby Drowned attempt to grab onto the player and pull them underwater to drown. . An End update similar to the nether update. . More Biome Updates and Animal Updates also so revamps to old mobs. Pandas and Polar Bears get some unique and useful mechanics that justify their existence. Camels that are essentially reskinned llama variants. . A splashing animation and cascade animation for water. Lava Geysers . Add all the old failed mob vote mobs like the Copper Golem, Glare, Iceologer, and Moobloom. . Stray dogs that spawn in villages. . A funny achievement where when you make a glowstone portal frame and put water in it. I was thinking of calling it "Can we go higher?" as a nod to the Aether Mod.

Since we’re getting mud in the wild update, I’m holding out hope for some sort of muddy pig Easter egg. Even if I have to name tag a pig and then place them on top of mud.

My idea for the game that I’ve had for a while is for the stone cutter. You would be able to make one with a netherite ingot (or upgrade it) and this would be the only way to cut obsidian, and get obsidian stairs, slabs and fences. I would also like to see more variety of textures for the brick block.

Would like to see 1.20 be an update that’ll bring Java only features to bedrock and vice versa (even though Java isn’t missing out on much lol) would also give a lot of space to add rtx to next gen and other features we just haven’t gotten yet

The cravings idea gives me reminders to playing with the spice of life mod. Where you could only eat a certain food so many times because of diminishing returns. Which made the crash landing modpack especially really difficult.

One idea i had was to make witches actual threat. Give em brooms to fly and sometimes you'll see them flying in sky. If they detect you they start throwing potions at you. Another idea was that being able to "cure" witches and they would fly you to other witch huts in return of emeralds. Minecraft is really lacking fast travel except elytra and it'd be amazing if you could build witch huts, cure them and trade with them to fly to other points. I mean if they atleast gave broom to witch instead of useless phantom mob, it'd be great.

In terms of the "this looks like a mod thing" I personally would say that whereas the caves and cliffs, village and pillage, etc. are not mod-like because rather then just adding a new chunk of stuff to the game, they just change the way you play through the same parts of the same game. I would make the argument that 1.9 and 1.16 ARE mod-like because they add a whole new part of the game that was never there before(with 1.16 netherite and with 1.9 the end islands)

Two ideas I love: The cravings system would be very interesting, especially for mapmaking, and if you could set the craving via a command that would be great potential for making an adventure map out of it, or datapacks/mods as well. I also love the feather idea, because it would mean they’d have the option to add tags and stuff into the game based on what item you’re holding and its use, with the feather there’d be a specific tag telling the game “No, don’t deal damage, instead push mobs back”, which could be altered, or something. So instead it could be “Yes, do deal 4 damage, but also poison the mob” or “Don’t deal damage, but apply every debuff”, it could add for so many cool things for vanilla minecraft

the coordinate one could create some problems for multiplayer servers, especially anarchy ones (like imagine dying at your base on 2b2t and everyone finding the coords)

I've had an idea for animals to be more reliable. It's like a level up system when you make them do stuff like attacking mobs and collecting stuff for you. The more they do it, the better they get at it, like villagers. I want to see myself leveling up a dog so it can do more damage or even pick up important stuff you lose when you die, or cats being able to scare away creepers from farther away or even attack them. And maybe even the less chosen animals like parrots being able to grab written books or tradeable items and sending them to players or villagers.

I want an enchantments update, to make enchanting more powerful and grindy. Maybe link it to another dimension that’s more dangerous than the nether. Let us push the levels of enchantments past their current limits.

I was a bit disappointed with the caves and cliffs update. We only got 2 cave biomes (excluding deep dark) and I hoped for more. A giant mushroom cave biome will be cool Cave villages too

They ought to add a pirate update where pirates roam the ocean with ships and it creates the ability to make your own custom ship/sailboat and create port villages/cities to help balance the roaming of the ocean

What they can do for the torch suggestion (#27) is that they can add unlit torches (once you light them they don’t out don’t worry) that can be lit by a flint and steel OR the torch crossbow. We can also load the crossbow with the unlit torches so that we can plant them and place far away, then light them.

In every long-term survival world I've done since the WiiU days, I've built a house in the village nearest my base that has multiple beds (and multiple job blocks once those were added) and I had it so that there was both a normal wooden door, and an iron door sealing off the house. The hope is that this house is entirely mob-proof, and contains enough villagers to repopulate in the event that a zombie swarm or raid eliminates the rest of the village. When I build the house, I keep the iron door open until at least two villagers are inside, where I then seal them off. I call those villagers "the mayor" and the village's "first family." and the time spent waiting for the villagers to enter the mayoral mansion is the election.

I wish we got like carnivorous plants. Mojang is adding mobs in danger and Venus fly traps are decreasing in the wild. It would be awesome if you have carnivorous plants that would be "friendly" for a time if you threw in meat. They could be used for traps (attack all mobs) or decoration.

broken nametags should be able to put in itemframes and have a hologram when you hover over them with the death message on it so you can create a memorial for them. Or maybe you could use the broken nametag to name an item to symbolise the pet that died, like a bone for a wolf. Then you could display that item as part of the memorial.
