He ran two coaches and a GM out of town and never came close to being a player that could lead a team anywhere. He still isn't a point a game player despite playing on the second line sheltered by veterans with real leadership. The team immediately became better without his caustic personality in the room. Tage Thompson got better, Jeff Skinner suddenly found his game. Rasmus Dahlin became a Norris Trophy candidate. Vegas can keep the whiny little floater.

Tkachuk is a bully and coward. He's much happier throwing punches at people like Marner, rather than facing actual tough guys. He's more Claude Lemieux or Ken Linseman than a "real man". He's found a team that truly embodies that spirit with Florida.

There was a rumor he injured his neck in the summer and that’s why he missed the start of training camp and that injury was exacerbated during the year that required the surgery. He was a locker room cancer thinking he was better than other people and treated them that way. Spent years hoping he’d mature into the player he could or should of been, and then he pulls crap going against the contract he signed and made that the reason he wanted out, when everyone knew he wanted out long before that and quit on them. That’s why he’s now hated

Rumor has it he also had a Maple Leafs soother when he was a baby. He sucks on it to this day.

Then Tavares should have respected the organization that drafted him, took care of him, and made him the captain of a far more storied franchise than Toronto, and been honest with the fans.
