Drift training is very interesting but also important for you progress, because it simulates difficult conditions in the mud when you lose your back wheel and grip on the ground. It improves your balance, as well as a sense of what's going on with the rear wheel of the dirtbike.
There is also the technique of pivot turn in small place, also staring on uphills with no run up.
