Really loved all the research you put into this, especially on the donut shop. I always love being able to show support to places that utilize only local ingredients, and I include that being as a "within country" statement, when it comes to a place like Japan. ^.^ Now, was the senbei, supposed to be sweet? I understand senbei to just be "rice crackers", and get different flavors from my market a lot, to have a really good easy snack(blood sugar issues), and have had everything from tomato, to cheese, to nori, and then chocolate, to strawberry, to blueberry(personal favorite). So I was a little confused there?
