My Silky Bigboy2000 with Sheath and I'm hand carrying my Ochsenkopf Axe OX 620 H 1257 with the RotBand Plus, I makeshift a Baldric Carry out of paracord, On my Survival Belt, I have these tools, I also can carry a little peace of mind, I like my Super Camanche Single Shot .45 Colt/.410 housed in my M-1 Carbine Canvas Sheath that I carry as a Holster. But if I'm in Bear Country, I like to chest carry my "Big John" my big brother .460 Rowland that's almost like the .44 Magnum. But with more shots to miss heh heh heh, That Boom alone lights up my life, But will make a Bear Shit in the woods heh heh heh. Yeah, I practice with different combinations, Like my Piggybacked Rodent 9/Rodent 4, or my Rodent 7/Rodent 3 that I Baldric Carry and ofcource lighter carries it all depends, But for Cold Weather Solo Scouting, I bring out the Big Boys, I also Veverucal carry a Piggyback I made with my Fav. One Tool Option, my Ratweiler which I attached my Rodent Solution which I can detach quickly and single carry them as I please. Tac, you should do a video on how to sharpen a convex edge. Mainly on the black jack. I got one, over a year ago now, well 2, but I mainly used 1 and it's been through a lot. So how would you sharpen it, because I do not want to screw up the edge. It still feather sticks like a mofo. But I know it could be way sharper. Also, I purchased it on your advice and it is a bad ass knife. Thanks.

9mm federal 124GR HST has some great gelatin test results for anti bear ammo. penetration and expansion, hope it will never have to use it against bear but in the 9mm category it would be and IS my pick for 2legged and 4legged encounters.

I've got a 10 mill but if I could only bring one firearm it would be my lever gun chambered in 44 Magnum. Short carbine 10 round capacity and a caliber sufficient to get the job done.

Sorry brother, but every documented account of an encounter with a bear in which someone used a .44 Magnum..... ended very badly for the human, even if they hit the bear. Best thing that has been proven to work is a 12 gauge shotgun loaded with sabot slugs.
