The channel is great man. I'm 1.5 years out of uni (in the UK) working in machine learning. I've done an internship in Japan previously, and longed to go back ever since. I think it's possible now but would be easier and would get a better job there if I waited to gain another 1-2 years experience.

Im currently in 3rd year CS ( Also from canada like you ) , and i plan on learning Japanese and getting internships. As I'm finishing up my 2nd year of my mechatronics degree now, I thought it would be prime time to start looking for internships. And I love Japan and I’m planning to move to Japan after my post graduation but I recently came across some news regarding Japan’s recession though I knew about it but now I don’t know how it will affect people who want to move to Japan long term like I’m currently doing my engineering and I’ll complete it by 2024 and masters in years after that so would Japan still be a good option then for working there, just curious like will the worsening economy give some problems obviously we can’t tell, but how is the situation of jobs and all there, and what is your speculation for it in the next 10 years or so.
