I thought I knew a Jesus in my head all these decades up to the age of 68 but l found Him in my heart when I dedicated my heart to Him. The bible wasn't a historical book but fact and a book of love letters to me. He opened my eyes and now l see. He opened my ears, now I hear His voice within my heart. As He said, " Call unto me and l will hear you and show great and mighty things which you do not know now." Obey God and He will bless you in all that you do,say, think, and touch , but let God's will be done as it pleases Him. AMEN

I came across this song when I was looking for employment. I listened to it so much and worshipped throughout it. I eventually got an interview. Exactly 2 hours and 30 mins later after that interview I got a call back saying I got the job and I need to come back to discuss and sign contract. It can only be God. We give him all the praise!

Dear Rick, I prayed for you and your family. So many need healing Rick, read Zacharias Ch.13:2 and the Apocalypse/Book of Revelation Ch. 22; Jesus will save many during the Great Tribulation for the glory of God, see Apocalypse/Book of Revelation Ch. 7. Also, Jesus redeemed me 10 years ago, just before Easter. In the Fall, He gave me this vision: "The 666 man will come out of the church and announce he is a homosexual at a pageant." God and Jesus (see Daniel 11:37 in the Douay-Rheims Holy Bible; next closest KJV) I am praying for all Rick and claiming God's promises from Zacharia and the Apocalyps and praying He hurry and send Elijah back to restore all things and His Beloved Son back on the clouds:) Also, there are 7 secret prophecies that we do not know what Jesus had the Apostle John seal up-God is very merciful and when you read the Book of Joel Ch. 2, we can see how sweet God is and He wants to repent of the "great and terrible day of His return" & check out Book of Act Ch. 2 where the Apostle Peter prophecies from the Book of Joel, Jesus changed this, "Great and manifest day of the Lord come." I've been a believer for a long time, and I hit rock bottom in my marriage. I was seeking outside of my marriage and got emotional attached to the person. My wife found out, and she kicked me out. We are talking it out, and the process of healing and repairing is so difficult. My heart and hers are so broken. She is a beautiful woman and a strong believer. We need prayers for restoration and healing. We need the Lord to intervene. For his perfect will and not ours. Thank you all.

God will never put us in a situation that we can't overcome. Let's trust the Lord's plan. Surrender everything to God and He will always be there for you. Geoffrey, you are not alone. We all experience your emotions and situations one way or the other. We all need that Jesus came to earth and left His Father God to experience our burdens. He shed His precious to die for your sin and my sun. All of us need a Savior. What I can say is Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your understanding. I have been battling addiction, ever since I left the forces in 19.92,like alot of us at this time going threw various emotions, I look and Pray for the second coming of Jesus christ, I feel embarrassed always asking God for his grace, what none of us deserve, but we are all his, the creators children, don't be miserable and be thankful that he loves us and expects us to approach his thrown boldly and two Christian brothers. I know how that feels ..I just lost my sister Earlene about 2 years ago.She died on alzhimers. Sometime I think I hear her voice.I saved a short answer of a call I made to her on my voicemail just so I could hear her voice.When I miss her too much I listen to her voice. She was my older sister.i loved her so very much And we were close.i comfort myself with these things and I also remind myself she's waiting for me in heaven along with my other sister,my parents and niece as well.i love them all!😢

Praying 🙏 for you Shabana, that as you allow Christ to turn your mourning into dancing. That weeping may last for a night, but joy comes in the morning. 😊 Whatever is going, only you know, but you are loved by Christ, and lifted up in prayers. Please don't despair. It's sure very ok to cry and too grieve, he'll can rage o the outside, but don't let it get into your mind and or soul. Or destroy your Quiet times, and happiness. This is the second compilation of "Christian" music I have run across that contains at least one song that shouldn't be considered Christian. In this case, the song "Hallelujah" by Rufus Wainwright (original by Leonard Cohen). The line "Maybe there's a God above" gives us a big clue. The concluding verses, which give us the "moral of the story" so to speak, do not hold to the Christian faith. You may love this song, and that's fine, but it is not a Christian song, and certainly not a worship song.

I understand your point but I dont agree with your interpretation. "Maybe there's a God above" expresses his doubt, but show me a chrisitan that doesn't experience doubt. The Song describes a struggle and in the end, no matter all the bad things that happenend, he turns back to God with a broken Hallelujah. And thats what Hallelujah generally describes, going from lament to worship, because in the end God is above all the bad things we experience in life.

Its not evil! This is just not a typical worship song. In this song he describes a struggel in his faith but turns every time with his "Hallelujah" back to God.

Okay some of the words to this Hallelujah song are a bit strange and odd...not sure this song would be comforting

I heard another version of this song...and it wasn't exactly Christion either.i think people just take this song and add any old words..and then sing the Hallelujah chorus.We need to be careful about the lyrics to songs.
