Definitely not worth £100 but it's a nice set. Great unboxing Rich.

I ordered my box set 1st October. Told release date 5th December. Courier delivered 30th November. When I opened it I didn't think it was worth the £100 I paid for it.

I love the fact that the steelbooks are designed together and to complement each other. I with my OCD love that, and these are only available in this set so I'm glad I got my order in for quite a cheap price. I see these things going for a retail price of 150 Euros in stores in Germany which is crazy. Two brilliant action films together and one of the best sequels ever made. I'm really glad they released an edition like this.

£100 for this is shocking in my opinion it could have been better

I got this for £60 on Amazon which is decent for this set. I wonder why the Top Gun discs also have the German Rating and the Maverick discs don’t.

Kelly mcGillis was dropped from before the title for Top Gun. She was great in the 1986 movie. The emphasis here on this steel book is clearly more on the gadgets /extras than the barefaced minimalist DVDs 📀

It`s an ok box set, but there are much better box sets out there, much cheaper. For that price it would have been nice, with a making of book, or mabey the soundtracks for both movies.

Did the UK get it release before US? I’m still waiting for mine to get shipped the 6 of dicember

Nice review! Very disappointing for $120 and no digital codes. Plain artwork on the steelbooks with no artwork in the inside. Smh

Glad I didn't bother with this. Not worth £100. I just went with the two limited edition steelbooks from #HMV

Great look and perfect in depth review. Just a shame that the set is so bland. Is it me or for a film that must have so many cool production images of the Jets, the crew, the IMAX camera, the cast in basic and The Star and Director on set. The imagery just seems to lack imagination. So many sets these days are looking to be of an environment and evoke a feeling but where is the movie making magic on the box. Just go look at the original ST and Laserdisc which are just so Top Gun instead of this £100 generic grey box. I just miss the balance of Laserdisc sets something like the Pioneer Platoon edition collectors set would have been perfect for this movie. Anyways... thank you for taking your time to produce a great video. Thumbs up from me
