I have the mechanics of a diamond, but im actually plat Edit (March 3rd, 2021) : I hit diamond Edit No. 2 (April 12th, 2021) : Almost champ Edit (May 10th, 2021): took a nice derank session back down to d2 Edit (July 24th, 2021): im a freestyler now Edit (September 10th, 2021): 2,500 hours, and im still d2 Edit (October 11th, 2021): D3 now Edit (December 24th, 2021): Hit champ for the first time Edit (November 22nd, 2022): Quit the game, completed the cycle ;) Edit (May 28th, 2023): Back on the game, easily champ in 2s, but D2 in 3s

tbf that is a very common occurrence im d3 and often get team mates that miss the easiest of balls by something stupid like flipping the wrong way when it’s the complete opposite direction lol

Rocket league is 100% the hardest game i've ever played, it takes so much practice due to the fact that you get 0 transition from other games. But I absolutely love the road of learning it with my friends, glad you could help

Not really, the high aerials I didn’t do until like d3, and I progressed so fast, I got d3 within two season of playing, heck I didn’t even know how to use direction air roll until I got to GC 1, the only thing you need in rocket league is a brain😂 legit it’s not hard.

This is the most practical guide I have found. If you are practicing these things daily, improvements are a guarantee. The degree of improvement will vary for different people I’m sure, but this is an excellent video. Good work man!

Samuele Raniolo it’s wired the ranking system doesn’t really work if you ask me like I’m in gold but the golds are double tapping and I only hit about 85 % of my wall shots I don’t know how I got to gold but I’m still in gold and I’ve stayed in gold for the past week and I don’t understand because I’m much worse than most of the golds yet I sometimes beat them

Glad I finally came across this video. I've been wondering how to improve and break out of the plateu I've seemed to come to for a while now, but just didn't know how to move forward. I also found some new info I hadn't heard before. Can't believe I didn't realize flipping too early is why I sometimes pop it up instead of drive it. Great tips and explanations. Thanks man!

Definitely a great vid, can tell you put a lot of work and effort into it. However, I just have to say that at the high champ 3 to low or mid GC ranks, prejumps are extremely rare and tbh I very commonly see mistakes in terms of awareness and flexibility on the field.

I think instead of prejumps you should think of just forcing yourself to play fast in free play, even if u know or think u will miss, you start breaking the nervousness to wait for the ball

This is a great video man. I'm high champ 1 - low champ 2, and I still need to work on stuff like areal control without air rolling and the quick recovery time, and i think it's great you want to introduce that early on. If I had followed this guide when i started, I might have been gc by now, or at least close to it. btw, this is probably the first time i actually commented, liked and subscribed from the first video ;)

Thank you so much for this video. At this point in time I have been playing RL for only about 2 months. I'm ranked Silver III. I still make many many many mistakes like whiffing and mistiming aerial approaches. I lack consistent power in hits because I don't have good car control and don't know the basics. Force is maximized on the courner because it creates the longest lever arm from the center of rotation on the flip in turn creating the largest moment possible by ur car and hitting the ball the hardest

Update: I did improve, not only can I do better aerials and have better flying control, I was also able to make 9 goals in a 1v1 match!

Nice vid gonna go through these... have been a very casual player and am in the plat/D area but my mechanics are very lack luster just have very good awareness...been told multiple times that fundamentals are key to advancement so let's go back to square one thanks for these.

As a C2 (C3 when I sweat for a couple months) I can confirm the extreme value of this tutorial. You're explanation is great, anyone trying to improve at any rank will improve following this for certain. There's many mechanical things I can work on starting from your platinum advice. Such a clear and thorough tutorial, nice one man. Update: I am comfortably in C3 in 2s after following this training for about a week or so! Update. Back in high C2 as I barely play nowadays every few months or so, so my mechanics are always rusty.

Man, I am consistently diamond three and have made it up to champ level. Some of these mechanics that are expected even at the gold and platinum level I don’t even have down haha really applicable video even two years later. Thanks so much! I’ll definitely be using this

yeah totally! I'll talk about it in my next video. but simply goto freeplay and roll the ball around. with using minumum amount of boost. understand how your car works with the ball. i want u to take the ball. roll it over every 100 boost. then into the goal that'll give u a basic understand of how to make the ball "turn". and how you car acts as a sort of..bumper or sorts to move it around

Does anyone know how to Get these training settings that almost every youtuber uses? Like its orange and blue like normal and not white and it doesnt reset after scoring and all that, please let me know if you know how to make that

oh you gota get bakkes mod. I HIGHLY recommend it if you're on PC. sorry if you're console its extremely good for speeding up your training/etc

@@andremunro3135 on console u can start a Exhabition match, put on unlim boost, goal reset none and unlim time. So u have pretty much the same, I had the same prob haha

Little late, but this is an awesome video- you go over some really nice details that people tend to forget to mention. Even something like "hit shots with the corners of your car" is overlooked often.

What a great video! :D I am silver and I actually rushed some of the things, my wish has always to be able to wall to air dribble since it looks so amazing, and today i got capable of air dribbling from a wall without the ball touching the ground to the net! Will keep this video for future help since its so friendly and easy to learn from! Amazing tutorial
