On all the websites, like on Hilton and Marriott, they have an option after you enter your destination and dates, there’s a filter option to filter pet friendly hotels.

better to be overprepared than underprepared! My dog spooks so I'd rather have two different gps devices that work a bit differently so I know I'm covered. Chances of someone else being able to catch her are low so I want to be able to track her on my phone.

Thanks for taking the time to comment! If they don't have great recall, a long-line is a great option while you work on your recall. I work on mine every day. It's something you have to maintain and train for the life of the dog unless you get super lucky. Happy Travels!

Is the spray sheild used if your dog is being attacked by another dog? Does it really work?

Yes and yes - as long as the dog coming at you isn't insanely aggressive. It has worked in several instances for my dad and his guide dog, and is a general deterrent for low to medium level attacks from other dogs.

Make sure you are careful when your doggo goes into the ocean! I've heard of dogs drinking the ocean water and dying due to dehydration and the crap ton of salt in the water.

That is definitely a risk. Fortunately, Whip does not like having water in her mouth while she swims so she ingests very little of it. But thanks for the tip!

That's good! I used to take my first service dog to the lake and she would always try to drink the water smh. Luckily it was a freshwater lake and it was pretty clean.@@DoggyU
